Update Sept. 7th 2019 - still in good shape no complaints use it at work all the time and its even taken a fair bit of rain and kept things dry... Though to be clear its not waterproof it is however decently water resistant if you were to get sprinkled on or had to run to your car a fair distance away while its pouring rain out. I am extremely happy with it I will update again in the future and I may change my review to 5 starsI spent a long time looking for a backpack I liked. The last backpack I had I got 13 to 14 years of use out of so it was time for a upgrade but I wanted something that would last as well. This backpack had all the traditional bits you'd expect to see on a modern backpack... Adjustible chest strap, padded shoulder straps, padded laptop compartment , lots of pockets and organizers.Keep in mind one of my laptops is a modified clevo laptop its solidly 8 lbs and if it got any thicker at 15.6 inches it would be considered a 1U server. Yet the laptop pocket still fits it (not a whole lot of extra room but it does. I would say it would hold the largest/thickest of 15.6 inch laptopsThe good--When your carrying a fair bit of weight it still feels pretty comfortable (since I've gotten it I've regularly carried about 15lbs in it or more between 2 laptops, other electronics, and large heavy paper books xD yes in this day and age some of us still lug around the yellow pages ;) haha.There is a red interior while red isn't my favorite color finding backpacks without a grey or black interior is kinda hard and we'll it sounds kinda stupid but it does making finding small items like usb flash drives and dongles a bit easier to find (unless they are the same color red xD )-Appears to be a well built pack-The adjustable chest strap has a ton of adjustment room not only in width between the shoulder straps but also you can set how high the chest cross strap sits and if it's to high still when your at the middle of it's guide you can unhook it and move it down even further it is quite decent designThe bad-The USB port built into the pack is not integrated the best and leaves roughly 1 to 1.5ft of cable hanging in the interior of the pack which is not detachable. I kinda wish it was just a USB coupler so you could plug into it on either side but that would increase the resistance in the line but most people would still be fine using cables sub 6 ft on either end so the little extra resistance should be fine. Anyways that's a really small complaint.I will update my review overtime and say how it holds up to the daily abuse.

I would like more Molle rings and a straw clip for a water bladder for when I am walking long distances in other countries or a pocket big enough for a half gallon Yeti thermos. when I am commuting to work the laptop pocket is a bit tight for filing with a plastic accordion file holder. I recommend the organization and size of the pockets for the power bank and consider a dual USB port for charging and portable hard drive data transfer. I wanted a backpack to move between offices at work which I do two or three times a week. It holds my files and books in one compartment, tea cup and comfort supplies in another, and all ancillary bits and pieces in another and still room to spare. Shoulder straps very comfortable, sometimes books and files are heavy. Water resistance which is convenient, and finally it fits over a suitcase handle so I can double duty it on our next trip away! Best value I found, nothing to touch it for my needs under $100.00. Of course, I am frugal so feel l got a really good deal for under $50.00!

LOVE THIS BAG. I had been looking for a new backpack for awhile now that can fit my laptop, files, cords, workout shoes and clothes, lunchbox, and a million other things in lieu of carrying a backpack and purse. I ride an electric scooter to work everyday so I have no free hands. I got it because I loved that it was so much bigger than my last bag, but now that I have it I'm obsessed with how comfortable it is, how many pockets it has, the quality and durability of the product. Not to mention it has so much more room than I anticipated. This product is a steal. Did NOT disappoint!

I absolutely love this backpack, it exceeded my expectations in quality. I've been using it for a few months to transport my laptop and materials for nursing school. It's comfortable, sturdy, and seems like it will last a long time. I've had to walk in the rain a few times and when I got to class my items were completely dry. I like the number of compartments as well. I was a bit nervous that my somewhat large laptop (16 x 10 x 1) wouldn't fit in the compartment, but it does with room to spare. Very happy with this purchase!

I bought this backpack to replace my old one that I’ve been using for 2 years but broken. Found this new brand called Swiss Alpen and the style which has nicer design and looking. It really impressed me that the material of the surface has the water resistance function which allows me to carry it under any weather condition. The water bottle pocket is large enough to hold my Yeti 32oz bottle. Which most of the backpacks I’ve ever used cannot. The space is really good for me to do short business travel and fits couples days clothing and all other necessary personal items. Overall, I’m in love with this backpack and will recommend to everyone else.

This backpack is simply outstanding. The backpack is made of high-grade material and the storage space for a laptop, documents and other personal items is more than adequate. The convenience of an external outlet for a power bank for a cell phone, tablet or other electronic device is essential to those on the go. The carrying handle and sturdy and securely attached to the backpack for those times carrying is more suitable than throwing over the shoulder. I loved my old backpack, but after 12 years of use the wear and tear had finally taken its toll. I am extremely happy with the choice I made to replace it!
