having a set of these is the way to go. These did not work for me ,but they helped. In many cases there will just not be enough room to use these. The quality is very good . They just will not work well on flange nuts in close quarters.That is also true with the frozen nut remover sockets.

Great product and does what you need it to do

This is soft steel suitable for walnuts, peanuts & the like. Anything metal, forget it. This picture is from first use, both the bit and hoop dented as much or more than the nut.

I am so beyond tired of advertisements dramatically overstating the capabilities of their products. I attempted to use these nut splitters on some 5/8", grade 5 bolts. The hardly made a dent in the nut. There was considerable more damage to the splitter than to the nut. I guess these would be great if your nuts were made of plastic.

Only purchased for the small splitter to use immediately on an exhaust stud nut. It did not cut all the way through the nut and left the hexagon impression of the nut in the rounded section of the splitter.

Broke as soon as it was used. Don't waste your time or money on this.
