Westwood Design Jonesport Bed Rail, Virginia Cherry (Discontinued by Manufacturer)

I purchased this for a convertible Lea bed. The company has discontinued the expansion kit since I purchased it. I was really hoping that this one would be compatible and took a chance in purchasing it. I was so pleased that it did fit perfectly!!!I was able to use this to convert my daughter's bed into a full size bed.The only down side is that there are no pre-drilled holes for the slats of wood. My husband had to make all of the measurements to make sure the slats were equidistant from eachother. Then he drilled the slats in. it seems very sturdy. I have even slept in it one night and it held up well.We are not using a box spring because we didn't want the bed too high for my daughter. Instead, we placed plywood over the slats and put the mattress over the plywood. It worked perfectly.It seems as if you may not need a box spring at all, but I did not try this without the plywood, so I can't say for sure.The finish is also very beautiful. It looks very well made and makes the bed look complete.I was sooo happy it was compatible!

Great Product that matched a different Convertible Crib, (Rustic Cherry). Only Double Hook Rail that would work for my discontinued Crib Frame.
