Extremely helpful pages at the beginning describing the differences in ingredients
Huge fan of the show so I was interested in the cookbooks. while some of the recipes require ingredients that are hard to find without a British market nearby, the descriptions of the products required in the beginning of the book make locating suitable ingredients easier , most of them you can order here.

Lots of ideas, but with British style baking.

great for a Novice baker like me
I love the GBBO show, so of course I wanted to see what I can bake! The recipes are sectioned off by beginner to expert levels so that makes it a bit easier to see what you'd like to try. A lot of the measurements are in grams, celsius vs oz and Fahrenheit so a little bit of calculation needs to happen before you start making your bakes.

Lovely and informative volume
I thoroughly enjoyed this book but it is not for novice or occasional bakers. You need a scale and a metric measuring cup since the instructions are in British measures. Professional bakers weigh their ingredients as the measurements are more accurate. There is a table in the back of the book that helps with some conversions. Also the recipes have some ingredients that are unfamiliar to Americans. But I have found them easily online. If you like the show, you will like this book.

Great recipes at different baking levels
I really like how they've set up the book into different levels of baking challenges from Easy Does It, to recipes that provide a bit more challenge. As long as you have a kitchen scale to measure ingredients to start, you're good to go. There is also a section at the beginning that provides a lot of helpful information. So far so good on the recipes I've tried. Pictured are toasted coconut banana bread and mocha donuts.I also like that they provide variations at the end of recipes if you want to change something up a little bit. Very happy with this purchase.

Fab!
I’ve started getting recipe books as ebooks now because:A) they’re cheaperB) I can just wrap my iPad or iPhone in cling film and the touch screen works but I don’t get it messyC) the hyperlinked recipes in the contents are so easy!This is such a good collection of recipes! Too often I feel like I buy a recipe book and half of them are things I can already make and feel like filler recipes, or are too niche and I’d rarely use them! This strikes such a good balance and I would definitely recommend it!

So far I have only made one recipe out of this book, but it turned out very nicely. Recipes appear easy to follow.

Great range of recipes
Lots of brilliant recipes here. I love that they're graded from easy to more difficult so that you know ahead of time what's involved. They include how much time they'll take and even include storage suggestions (or best eaten on the day!). I've tried several recipes now and had success every time. Looking forward to trying more, though my waistline isn't! ;-)
