Alloy Drop Bar 26.0/44Cm Black

For some reason my stem (also 26.0) seems to have trouble gripping these bars. I ended up making a shim to get these to work. I also wish they were a little longer. My hands don't quite fit on the drops. I'm hindsight, I think I would have also preferred a smooth curve on the drops because holding the bars at the kink is quite uncomfortable. As others stated, the bar ends dont seem to accept bar plugs very well, but I some cheap expanding plugs was a simple solution.At some point I will probably replace this bar, but since I ride on the hoods most of the time I only run into issues on longer rides when I need to shift hand positions more, or when I am biking into strong headwinds and would prefer being on the drops.

It's been 200 miles since I put these on and I couldn't have asked for anything better. Very comfortable to ride on and very good quality.

I replaced the bars on my old road bike with these, and am enjoying the more ergonomic feel on the grips. Plus, the black bars are a nice change from the polished aluminum look.
