New battery easy to install if you watch video and take your time
I purposely bought a Garmin that had lifetime maps and looked it had a battery that I could replace. I was able to do so with help of the video and patience in putting the whole thing back together--there is a lot of wiring to crowd into the device before putting the back cover on again! Also, remember to have the on/off button freely moving before putting it back together.
