Great for dogs who roll. Lightweight.
This jacket is lightweight. Not meant for super low temperatures. Just your normal colder nights by a fire. The warm soft fleece on the inside will have all your dog hair stuck to it. But the outside is easily wiped. I have dogs who like to roll. Just a quick sweep with your hand and dried mud or dirt comes off. Medium was a good size for my female cattle dog. (blue heeler) . She's about 40-45 pounds. Great bank for your buck.

Old-man Puppy approved.
Our little Yorkipoo (old-man puppy) loves sweaters and jackets. But all of them got left at my parents' house when he came to live with me. He got so excited when I called him over to try it on. We have not been able to try this jacket in the wet or cold (just arrived tonight) but I will try to remember to update this when we do. His other sweaters are not water-proof so I am excited at this prospect. We ordered a small (arrived in 4 days) and it fits great. I love the elastic band around the girth to adjust for multiple sizes. It seems to be well made and pretty sturdy. Went outside and the reflective strips are a nice perk to this jacket. Under first impressions, I would recommend it.

I cut attached leg hole free
Because his chest is 30 inches and he is a great Dane his chest is huge like a grey hound and he has a very long neck. What was happening is the one leg hole is attached and one is velcro. The one that was attached was to tight and pinching and rubbing. So it was too tight at the armpit. But the adjustable underneath chest part did fit. So what I did was cut the attached leg free. So now it doesn't attach at the upper chest. Only around the lower chest underneath the armpit.It's OK, I'm pretty sure I'm gonna always run into problems due to his size. And since I cut the sternum flap free, I might even hem it myself so I don't have to tuck it in. Over all I am happy with the quality.

The design of the coat is not well done
Good quality, but the design of the coat is not well done. There is some disproportion in the coat construction. Medium is too small for my 12-14 pounds Belgian Griffons in chest and neck - tight to the point of not enough fabric to cover neck and chest, but in the same time it is very long in back. While according to the website description it should fit my dogs perfectly. My dogs are not fat and very proportionally built. This coat is not designed as well for the needs of male dog of any size unless you are ready that you doggy will wet it. Returning the coats to Canada (!)

Doesn't work for this pitty.
Measurements don't work...I ordered the XXL for my female pit bull--neck 18", Chest 28", length 22" . According to the chart a perfect match for the XXL but it won't stay fastened together at the neck no matter how much I let out the sides. Otherwise, it's a great little jacket--just the right weight for the Pacific Northwest lower elevations.

Love this coat
Love this coat , my pup is 4 months old and has gotten every hand me down coat I have off . The way this is made that covers the chest she cannot get it off and boy has she tried. It takes a little time to get it on but it worth it. The quality is great,I like the material and the way it is made and the fact that it is waterproof.and the price is good too. It does run small, so make sure you measure . I got her and XL and it just fits her so I know it won't fit her next fall. I went by the length. So next fall I am planning on buying another one. Well worth the money!

Thin and small
This coat is really small for an XXL. It barely fits my 42lb dog. It is very thin! More like a light jacket or rain coat. I noticed they changed the picture from the time I ordered until it arrived. The previous picture made it look like a warm puffy coat. It is not. I'm still using it for not as cold days, but it is disappointing. The good is that is velcros at the neck and sides so it is easy on and off.

Waterproof Jacket
While the principle this Waterproof Jacket is good, the sizing is totally off. I have a medium size dog (45 lbs), very muscular, and ordered two sizes to be on the safe size: the Large and the X-Large. The XL was impossible to fasten around his belly and neck. I have to return them and reorder and last two sizes available: the XX-L and the XXX-L. Hopefully one of them will fit. Very disappointing.
