If you're wanting it for a newborn shoot, I wouldn't recommend. It's stretchier then I anticipated & so the sides come up around baby & you can't see them well. (We never even tried to lift baby, just lifted sides while he was laying down on the hammock on a secure surface. The sides came all three way up over him.)
