Purchased as a ramp to load my folding 70# e-bike into my car. Works perfectly!
I purchased this particular style ramp as a way to load my 70# folding e-bike into the back of my Subaru. I considered wider ramps but this one seemed to offer the best option. I only need one track of the ramp and I can roll the bike right into my car. The bike was too heavy to safely load without assist. The ramp telescopes to 10'. It is very sturdy and easily supports the bike weight. Loads easily into the back of my car so is very handy to pull out when I want to take the bike out of the car. The only downside for me, but not a big deal actually, is the single ramp is a little heavy (which by the way accounts for it being super sturdy and that is a plus). Has raised edges which keeps my bike from slipping off. Excellent traction. Buttons to push to retract and expand work really well. Quality is excellent. I am very pleased.

Awesome Product and Customer Service
When a friend of mine arrived at a trike ride and unloaded her recumbent trike from her vehicle using these ramps, I knew these are what I needed. I came home, browsed thru Amazon and found the Silver Spring telescoping 5-7 ft ramps. I felt that I needed a little bit longer ramps being that my vehicle was higher off of the ground. I place my order and the ramps actually arrived one day earlier than what was scheduled. Upon unpacking and giving them a good look, I found two defects on one of the ramps. I then went to my Amazon order and contacted the seller, providing pictures. The customer service was very prompt in their reply and offered to send a replacement which arrived very quickly. If you are looking for an economical, light weight and sturdy set of ramps for recumbent trike, wheelchair, or anything that has wheels for loading and unloading - look no further.

A great buy, better than I expected
I am 78 and disabled and thes ramps are perfect for my use. Very well-made and sturdy. My 260 lb scooter with me (180 lbs) on it went up and down these ramps easily. Not even a hint of weakness. They extend and retract easily and are quite lightweight. Most important, though, is the fact that they take up less room in my van. They are much easier for me to handle than the old one-piece aluminum ramp I had before purchasing these. Not only that but they were shipped almost immediately and got here when I needed them. 5 stars all around.

Great Ramp for Recumbent Trike car loading.
I'm using these ramps to load my e-assist recumbent trike into my Kia Carnival minivan...approx loading height of 23". Weight of trike approx 60 lbs. These ramps are fully extended. They worked perfectly, making loading and unloading by myself (60 yo woman) a breeze. I love the 'rubber' grip on the underside that rests on my car and also on the lower end that sits on the ground. The ramps didn't move as I loaded or unloaded and are wide enough not to have to be perfectly aligned to use them and the outer edge has a tall lip so there's no fear of running off the ramp. The texture on the ramp also helped make it easy to roll, the ramps didn't flex (requiring more muscle from me!) and overall I couldn't be happier. Oh, and the push button to collapse or extend is metal so I don't expect it to break like other ramps reviews I've read. After my husband spent about $150 on trying to create our own cheaper set of ramps (they flexed making it hard for me to use, they moved all around etc) I broke down and just spent the money...it was worth it. Save yourself the trouble and just buy ready-made.

First use
So these bad boys are heavy and heavy duty.First time trying to extend them thogh was not easy and required 2 strong people. Once opened up I found out that it can't be extended to a unique length of your own needing and safely secure the ramp so it won't close or extend while in use. It is either 5 feet or 10 feet. Nothing in between.I did not realize until I got it.

Dangerous to fingers. Got old version of ramp- or another ramp...
The media could not be loaded. The 10’ ramp we received did not have the bug yellow buttons. It has a small brass button which is pretty dangerous to fingers. One of them will not protrude from the hole making that ramp useless- see video. It’s too heavy to drag to UPS or wherever to return. I will try to drill out the brass part and use a bolt (or drill away the metal around the brass part so it can protrude to lock the ramp in the long position) and just keep it at the Longest length. Very disappointed. The metal is sturdy though. Also we didn’t get the locking part where you drill a hole and lock the ramp in place. I expect to get what is show , not an earlier version with a manufacturing defect.

Well Worth the Money
My 88 year old mother uses a cane and sometimes has to use a walker. There are several steps leading from my house. When she is well, she is able to use the stairs. Two years ago, she had a medical issue where she needed to go to the emergency room. She couldn't walk down the stairs and I couldn't get her down. I called my brother to help me. It took him an hour to get to my house. (I didn't call an ambulance because they have to take patients to our small local hospital. We prefer to use a large hospital in the city, about 35 miles away.) I ordered the 10' ramps in case something like this happens again. We did a trial run with the ramps. I extended the ramps to the full 10'. Mom sat on the walker seat and I held to the handlebars and held the handbrakes down slightly to keep the walker from going down so fast (I know you're not supposed to transport someone like this, but sometimes you have to.) It worked perfectly. We were down in seconds and Mom said she wasn't scared going down. The ramps are lightweight, easy to extend and then shorten to store. I would suggest doing a trial run because when we did our trial run, we discovered that the back wheels of the walker are wider apart than the front. So I had to move the ramps a little further apart. I put a small mark on the deck so I would know where to place the ramps next time. Now I don't worry about getting Mom down the steps.

Load your tricycle!
Fifty pound tricycles are difficult for one person to lift into the back of a minivan alone. This ramp made loading and unloading it so much easier and they collapse enough so they travel easily alongside the trike in the back of the van, ready for use at the trailhead. It was a great purchase for me.
