EVERY SELLER OF THIS PRODUCT ON AMAZON IS DISHONEST. PLEASE LOOK CAREFULLY AT OTHERLISTINGS OF THIS FAN AND SIMILAR FANS. I have been through literally over 50 fans like this one and EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM HAS FAKE REVIEWS FOR OTHER PRODUCTS. This listing was the first and only listing to have 100 percentof its reviews come from ONE product. For example, there are listings of this same product that include reviewsfor turkey basters, heaters, ceramic angels, toys, kitchen hardware, etc. SO VERY DISHONEST AND AGGRAVATING!I desperately needed a product that would cool down my office. But after seeing literally several dozenlistings with reviews for other products, I figured I would never buy one of these because AMAZON ALLOWS THE SELLER TO RELIST A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT PRODUCT ON THE SAME LISTING THAT WAS ONCE SOMETHING DIFFERENT. This should not be allowed. Some of these fans have thousands of reviews and 4 star ratings. Those ratings all came from a variety of products and not just a fan. SO DISHONEST ITS DISGUSTING!Ok now for the fan. Its loud. Gets louder with each setting. Definitely noticeable.ITS SMALL. It's about the size of a lunchbox. If you think a fan the size of a lunchbox can cool down your entire room or entire house, thats your own issue. Dont blame the seller or the manufacturer for that!If you need a larger space to be cooled off, buy more than one lunch box sized fan. Pretty obvious stuff here.Lastly, it works well with ice water. There is no cleanup after the fan empties out the tank, which will onlyhappen if you use the "cooling mist" button.I bought two of them, and they cooled my office down by a few degrees over a few hours.I plan on buying two more, at which point I may not use my air conditioner for most of the remainder of this summer.Hope this helps. Amazon really needs to do something about dishonest listings and reviews that dont match the product.It WORKS excellent with ice.

First of all, if you expect this mini portable air conditioner fan to perform like an air conditioner, you’re going to be sorely disappointed. This is a fan. And a small one at that. The difference between this fan and regular ones is that it blows air along with a fine mist of cold water. The device is 9” tall, 5 ½” wide and 4” deep. It has a small drawer in the back where you can pour ice cold water or ice (it comes with flexible ice tray to make ice in the shape of little bears and an eye dropper to fill the tray). I like it that the drawer has a lock so that it won’t open accidentally.The controls are on the top. There’s a power button; a second button used to cycle among the 3 speeds the fan has. And the third button, the refrigeration button, starts the water sprayer. There’s also an indicator to let you know when the water tank is empty. The direction of the flow of air can be controlled by the angle of the louvers. Basically, it’s just front ahead or down. There’s no side by side. The mist is really fine and thanks to the little drawer that catches the moisture condensed on the louvers; this fan doesn’t leave any wet marks of my desk.As I said earlier, this is not an air conditioner so it won’t cool an entire room. And it doesn’t quite lower the temperature of a personal space either. The good news is that I did find that this fan helps me cool down if it’s pointing at me and I’m sitting within one to two feet away from it. I think the fan is OK within its limits. It’s certainly a good improvement over my regular desk fan, which in really hot days felt like it was blowing warm air. This mini fan, on the other hand puts out a nice stream of cold air as long as its tank has ice water.

I don't normally write reviews, but i am writing this one to let other people about this product.You can't feel the "cool" wind even 1 feet away from the fan, in order to feel the wind you have to be basically 1 inch from the fan. This fan is really small and noisy, because the only way you can feel a little wind it's on the 3 speed and that one it's kinda noisy.I wasted $38 for something that doesn't do the job that i was expecting.My advice to you is don't buy this.

This is a great product if you want very cool air to be blown in your face if you are at your desk but it isn’t great if you want it to cool a small room. (I have the AC on at night and since I’m now working from home I don’t want to run it all day) so I turn this on to keep the room cool and it lasts until the hottest part of the day (3PM) and then it becomes stuffy but at least my cool air is being blown at my face. I run it on high and it needs about 3 refills of ice and water for an 8hour day. Which is ok. The noise level isn’t bad either and no residue on my desk from the water which is great too.

Pros - Easy instructions and very user friendly. Just the right size to sit on a nightstand, table or desk. Very quiet. Fill with cold water and push a button and wonderful cool air comes out. Comes with AC/DC cord adapter. Now I can survive the summer in comfort.Cons - None.

I am sure this product has a use but it didn't do what I needed it to do...very PLASTIC and didn't even produce what it says.....they definitely need more 'good' examples of what it really does, but it doesn't do much.....

The fan is noisy and the mist is a tad week. Maybe for a small space it would be ok if you did not mind the noise.

This product is cheap and flimsy, and only puts out as much cool mist as blowing on an ice cube. The product is only about 10" tall. The water reservoir is tiny and clumsy to fill. Basically, I consider this purchase a complete waste of money and electricity. Would not recommend.
