Bromelain 240 GDU 200 mg 100 Tabs

I purchased this to use for swelling around the incision sites after my nephrectomy. I notice a big difference in the amount of swelling when I take this - I take 2 in the morning, most mornings. A lot of the soreness went away and a lot of the swelling went down. I forgot to take it for a few days and the swelling is back and the soreness is also back. I won't be forgetting again!

I believe anyone desiring a daily low dose of Bromelain (under 300 GDU/day) will not beat Swanson's price. I appreciate they list both the GDU amount (what consumers need for accurate purchasing), the size of their tablet (200mg), and what you get (exact GDU value) in each 200mg tablet. The next best price I have found on Amazon is for Source Naturals at (about) double Swanson's price (yet providing a higher 300 GDU dose with each capsule).Websites that once provided general Bromelain dosing requirements for typical ailments are apparently being cleaned-up/removed. People trying to determine what GDU value is required will find it hard to obtain this information. Many friendly websites including medical ones provide the size of the pill to take...which is a meaningless gesture as they do not identify the potency (GDU values) assigned to the size of pills described. Doctors do have a union, the AMA, afterall. Large doses of Bromelain will affect other medications as cited on most medically-helpful websites.Bromelain may have a side effect addressed by another Amazon product (albeit outdated) called "Pineapple Express"; touting the benefits of large sustained doses of fresh pineapple by men.Beyond cost, I offer my praise for the alacrity Swanson provided this shipment. Ordered on the 17th of July, they shipped out 8 A.M. on the 18th, and it arrived on the 20th...with numerous other supplements...for only $5.Package went from Omaha, NE and arrived on 19th in Brunswick, GA; for delivery the 20th. I commend Swanson's method.

Excellent product and I really recommend it for who has digestion issues. Just have to take 1 pill before meals and it’s done.

Bromelain tablets helped keep my acid reflux in good form. The bromelain tablets are ease to swallow unlike big bulkyother tablets. I would recommend the product to anyone suffering with acid reflux like I have in the past.
