My closet has a really deep part that I use to put luggage and other less-used things, and I decided it was time to get a light to illuminate it instead of having to pull out the flashlight on my phone or fumble around in the dark. I had considered hardwiring one in but decided it wasn't worth the hassle or inflexibility, so this rechargeable LED light seemed like a good compromise at a nice price point.Pros:*Surprisingly high quality: I admittedly wasn't expecting much of the quality, it's a closet light after all. But it has a substantial "feel" and seems to be made true brushed aluminium rather than lookalike plastic. The magnetic clips that it hangs on are also cleverly designed, I just peeled the sticky backing off and stuck it on but there's a hole in them too, so you could surely screw it in as well. It makes it easy to pull off for charging as well.*Battery life is good so far: I run it on motion sensing so it's not on more than a minute or so at a time, but I didn't even charge it out of the box and 10 days later it's still going strong*Motion detecting is sensitive: sometimes you have to wave like crazy with motion detectors like this, but this one kicks on right away and stays on a good amount of time (something like 10 seconds from last motion detection)*It's bright: this closet gets no daylight so I'm not sure how this would perform in a natural daylight setting, but it illuminates the closet very nicelyCons:*Motion sensing is sensitive: I know this was a pro too, but if you have it out in the open and on motion sensing, it's probably going to go off a lot. I initially had it oriented so it was picking up more motion outside of my closet, it was picking up my motion 10+ feet away*Color temp is rather cool: I tend to prefer warmer whites when it comes to light temperature (note that I'm not talking about the actual operating temperature, this thing throws no heat at all), and this is pretty cool as is common in LEDs. Not a big deal, just may look strange if you put it somewhere with a lot of warm white light.

hello,we needed a light under some new garage cabinets. since there were no in wall electrical outlets for a wired set up, these were selected over the million other choices. why? the presentation was really good, the facts showcased exactly what we were looking for in a wireless light. plus, they matched our cabinet color quite well.another major factor, with the included magnetic holders that came with the unit, made for a very handy light. we needed some extra lighting for another cabinet to install some plugs and shelves. this handy under counter light just popped off of the two provided magnets and we used it for a portable flashlight...but gave off more light than we actually needed. it was a welcome sight in the dark corners of the garage.yes, we could have used the flashlights in the drawer and the flashlight that comes with the portable drill set, but this under cabinet led light set gave off much needed light that lit up the whole cabinet section in a darkened garage. it was like portable daylight inside that cabinet area. this is an excellent product and we ordered another one for the other under cabinet light set up without wires. a simple solution to just about any lighting situation.update:after purchasing this light bar, we have walked by it daily in the garage. it goes on long enough to see what we are doing without the big whole garage light. so, for the short amount of time , the light shows the area quite well. as we walked away, the light goes off and it is ready for the next time. we have two of these lined up next to each other. they give off enough of the led lights to light up the counter for fine work. it is an excellent purchase and if we need more elsewhere in the house, we will certainly purchase more. one place might be inside of a dark closet. it is mounted in any location with those magnets.

Bought this to use as an under-cabinet light in the kitchen. Really easy to setup. Also comes in and out of place with little effort. When the kitchen is dark enough, the motion detection works well, but the light stays on only very briefly. Walking by this counter to do other things in the kitchen can cause the light to activate more then once per trip to the kitchen. The only main complain is that it's difficult to switch to On. Since the light doesn't come on by itself during the day (we have a lot of natural light in the kitchen), we need to turn it on manually to have the under-cabinet light we want. Overall - worth the cost. Consider buying more for the rest of the counters.

Great light but it only lasted about 5 days. I went through the Amazon return process and had a new one the next day and put the old one in the packaging put in the Amazon box, printed a label and dropped it off at a UPS center, Easy easy peasy.. The original one I purchased was installed using the magnets on the inside of my steel garage door so when I opened the door it was like on the ceiling so when I went into the garage at night it would instantly turn on but the one night it didn't work so I recharged it and noticed something wrong with the on-off and auto-switch while plugged in to charge, it would light in the on switch but it was dim then I would switch it to off then back on and it was bright but when I unplugged the cable it did not work. So far the new one is working fine

Light worked well for a while but a few months later the motion detection stopped working. So now it's either on or off which of course defeats the purpose of getting it... Also, charge doesn't last very long. You need to charge every night or it's out of charge the second day. Kinda annoying...

This is a great affordable light with good output. Only problem I have is that I leave it plugged in all the time so I don't have to worry about charging it, but if you do that, the motion sensor stops working every time the unit charges to 100%, it expects to be unplugged for the motion sensor to work again, very annoying. I use it as a light inside my aquarium cabinet stand and prefer to leave it plugged in so I don't have to worry about charging it.

Don't buy this product. This product is definitely a disposable product. After changing once, it can only be used for one day after second recharged.
