These things work great. Takes a few minutes to fasten to the door frame, but saves a ton of time when actually installing the door. So much easier to get the door set and the gaps even. Then you go back after and shim the casing and make it solid, but you get the door hung and swinging properly with so much ease.Would buy again and recommend.

These make door hanging easy. Great product, easy to use, saves time. Wish I would have found these long ago.

I used these brackets to install 20+ doors in a house I am building. I have set probably 60+ doors prior to this. This time I used them, because I was setting 8' tall solid core doors. They do help me get the door in relatively plumb and square, but the problem is they do not hold the door in exactly the spot they should. I used cedar shims and shot nails through the jambs to make them solid. The nice thing about the brackets is they do allow you to adjust the door with shims to get the door in plumb and adjust it so the door hits the jamb stop evenly, which I like. I probably will continue to use them for this reason. If you have hung doors before you quickly realize these cannot be used without shims, or the door will move and will not stay in a spot where the door will hit the jamb stop correctly when it moves and the reveals will change.

Not as strong as the ones that you can buy at the box stores, but will get the job done.
