Astrolabe Watch

The watch is not worth the money it is sold for. While the color and design are neat, the watch stops frequently throughout the day causing the time to have to be reset. I am not allowed to have a cellphone where I work so knowing the correct time is important, and while the watch is unique in styling it is not attractive enough to just be worn as a fashion statement-- it must also have function. If it stops throughout the day that marks it as unreliable. It is not a self winding watch, nor a movement powered watch and is in fact battery powered, thus the movement of the watch should be on time. The band fell out of the watch once and I had to put it back in, this wasn't that hard to do but it is troublesome. Finally on rare occasion the entire face of the watch will move when the crown is pulled out the set the time. Amazon has tons of men's watches for cheap prices, many of them seem like they will be better quality to a slightly higher price than the infamous $12 watch that works twice a day, this is not one of them. If this is just a minor manufacturer flaw than I may change my opinion, but for over $50 dollars and the appearance of the watch I demand it to be functional and on the correct time throughout the day.

The watch face is beautiful and the twenty four hour dial is unique and easy to read if you follow the directions the Astronomicum interface is quite accurate. With all that said I feel for the amount of money I spent the band should have been better. The band broke three weeks int use and I had to buy a new one. That's is the only problem I have had from the watch.

A MUST BUY !! The metal piece on top pop's right off so you can view the dial in full view. The dial is a eye grabber ! The hands glow ! The graphics are some of the best I've seen. Water resist up to 3 atm's, The band is the softest rubber I've ever put on !This watch should cost three times more, oh last thing this watch hasn't lost a second ! I love this watch, but the first one I got had the front piece fall off regularly—although now it won’t move, go figure why! I got a replacement rather quickly, I appreciated the fast service, but now both units have problems keeping their time. It used to be just a few minutes late, but the first unit I just noticed was about five HOURS late — although it was just a few minutes late only yesterday! I had the batteries checked, and they’re both fine, so it’s not the battery. What is the problem?
