Apply well, very slightly obscure fine text
CON: These anti-reflective covers work by dispersion, not by the anti-reflective film like you would see on a camera lens. Perhaps that means that they inherently will slightly obscure fine text. It is just barely noticeable, and is more noticeable 'off axis' (at an angle to the screen). I cannot say that I love the end result for typing work, but it is great for watching video...way better than the reflections from the screen before.PRO: Installation instructions were very good, and it was possible to get a nearly perfect result. It is NOT easy to get that, however, and I have installed screen protectors on tablets and phones hundreds of times for work, so I would guess that someone without experience would find it very difficult to get an installation without some dust and bubbles. One trick that goes beyond the instructions is to take a lint-free, damp cloth and clean both sides of the screen protector while it is still sandwiched in its protective layers, before trying to position it on the screen. This will reduce the new dust transferred from the protector's cover layer onto the screen that you just cleaned so well per the instructions.

This install is not for a beginner
Perfect! Exactly what I needed. My monitor was like looking in a mirror, and the anti glare works perfect, no more head aches. I had an oddball sized monitor, so I sized up, and cut it to size.Touch Screen:The touch screen went a bit wonky on me. I can no longer scroll a page. Although, the touch sensitivity has increased… When I use it as a secondary monitor in a dual monitor set up, the touch screen controls the mouse on the main display which renders the touch screen useless. As a single monitor or mirroring my displays, I don’t have any touch screen issues, other than not being able to scroll. There are only a few instances where I need to use the touch screen, and it works flawlessly. For me, the touch screen issues are not deal breaking.Application:After it was completely cleaned and dusted, it went on seamless with only a couple bubbles that were easily squeezed out. I did have to work a bit with the edge that I trimmed. It needed a bit more pressure, and air removal. As you see in the pic, I wasn’t quick enough and caught a couple pieces of dust at the end. This install is Not for a beginner. If you have never installed a flexible screen protector Do Not make this your first, it will fail. These are much different then installing a 9H glass.Install tips:- Do Not use the included supplies. The cloth leaves behind a lot of lint, the applicator card leaves behind lint, and the fuzz scrapes off of the card, lastly the dust sticker is way too small.- Get your own alcohol wipes, a lint free cloth, a credit card (wrapped in the lint free cloth for application), and your own dust sticker remover. I highly suggest a few full page or half page labels like the Avery 5126. On that large of a surface, you cannot remove all of the dust quick enough before your surroundings adds more dust.- Once you’ve removed all of the dust, you have to be quick at applying the film because the dust from the air will reappear in seconds.

Nice matte touchscreen protector
This is the basic anti-glare screen protector-- not a blue filter, or a privacy filter. As you can see in the photos, when looking directly at the screen, the screen has the nice matte screen look. The flashlight was not turned off or moved in those 2 pictures of my new 17.3" HP Envy laptop. It's difficult to see in the photos, but the screen protector just fits over the viewable screen area and not the black borders or the webcam. You get 2 matte screen protectors in the package. Each matte screen protector comes sandwiched between two clear sheets labeled 1 and 2.When I started, my laptop was only days old, so I thought it wouldn't have dust on it. I looked for dust on the screen and didn't see any, so I went ahead and followed the directions of peeling back some of layer 1 and applying the matte protective sheet. I turned on the laptop so I could see where the protector should be applied. Well, it was obvious after applying it that the matte screen had some dust trapped under the protective layer. So here's what I learned. Some dust you can not see without a bright light. The screen needs to be dustless. Turn off the laptop. Shine a very bright flashlight at the edge of the screen which will highlight the dust. Use clear packing tape to gently lift off the dust. (The included "Dust-absorber doesn't work as well as the clear packing tape.) When the dust is entirely removed, turn on the laptop so that the screen shows the area to cover. I started on the upper left and peeled about 2" of the left side of layer 1 from under the matte screen protector while keeping the clear outer layer (layer 2) intact. Then I lined-up the left edge and used the "applicator card" to remove the air bubbles as I went from left to right. Great, next the clear sheet labelled number 2 needs to be removed. But, be careful, the matte protective sheet tends to lift off the laptop screen as you remove the number 2 clear sheet. For me, the matte protective sheet went right back into place onto the screen with the help of the applicator card.If you can't move what looks like an air bubble-- well likely there's some dust trapped there. On my first try, I found that peeling the film back off to remove the dust just made things worse.Well, now with my matte screen protector installed, my laptop has become a favorite.

Got rid of the glare, but a little difficult to put on
A bit more matte than I thought it'd be, but worked great to reduce the glare. Touchscreen wasn't affected at all. The only real issue I have is adhering it to the screen. I'm used to doing something smaller like a phone. With my OCD and needing it perfect that was a little more of a challenge. It could just be a user error (that's me, lol!) or something that wouldn't bother most people. Great price and you get 2 of them!!!!
