This is hands down one of the best beauty products I've ever used
This is hands down one of the best beauty products I've ever used. It really will keep your lipstick on all day or night, provided you don't get a significant amount of oil (from good or other cosmetics) on your lips. It's also a great value for your money because one bottle lasts for quite awhile. Be aware that it will most likely dry your lips out after several hours or a few consecutive days' use and that it may sting when you first apply it, especially if your lips are chapped. I cannot recommend this product highly enough.

Health issue.
This literally burnt the skin on my lips. A couple of weeks consecutive uses and my lip started to feel dry and rough. Then my lips tiny pimple that grew into blisters. After getting medical treatment I assumed it was not supposed to be used every day, and I decided to try it again once everything had clear. Hoping I could use it occasionally. But the next time my lips had a very immediate reaction. Such a shame as in the early stages it really worked well at keeping lipstick on.

I don't regret the purchase, but I don't ever use it either
The product is supposed to make any lipstick become smudge proof. Though it does help regular lipsticks to be more resistant to smudging, it doesn't really deliver on its promise. I've used it with several different lipsticks and stains and I have had varying degrees of success and failure. Yes, I'm following the directions exactly. I'd say that I don't regret purchasing it, but I can also tell you that I've never actually grabbed for it except for when I was testing it out. It does wear off as well, so you do need to carry it around with you. And when it's time to reapply it works best if you wipe off all the Lipcote and lipstick and reapply both of them. There is a slight alcohol smell, taste, and sting but nothing that bothered me and it went away quickly. It didn't cause me a headache and the smell didn't linger. Not bad, maybe I just need to find the right lipstick to go with it.

It works...sometimes...it depends...
It causes a crazy tingle when first applied, but subsides quickly. It reacts differently with each different lipstick formula. I'd highly recommend testing it out with your intended lip color of choice before any major event. Also, I cannot stress this enough, moisturize your lips the night before and after using this. It will dry out your lips like crazy. It helped the longevity of my Sephora Lip Creamstain, but steer clear of oily foods. Some touchup will be needed where the lip meets the inside of your mouth.

It works, but is drying.
I used a different lipstick sealer previously, and chose this one on a whim just to see if it worked any better. Actually, it does. Fair warning: both products dry the lips, but Lipcote did a better job of making my lipstick last longer. And the service is just as good with a "plus" - they sent a notice to me asking if I was pleased with the product (which I am). I don't think I ever heard anything from the other product.

This product works great!!
This product works great!!!You first have to put concealer with a beauty blender or brush, then grab a tissue and put your lips over it and smack to take off the excess amount. Then put the lipstick of your choice and do the tissue thing again. Then you apply this product on all over and fan it dry without closing your lips/mouth. It does have a bad smell but is sooo worth it. It does last me all day and I don’t have to reapply at all. The only time that it came off a bit was when I was eating ice cream but it was because it was on a stick and not eating with a spoon. I highly recommend

I love lipstick but I hate to reapply
It really does work! I love lipstick but I hate to reapply, I bought this to help with the staying power of my lipsticks and now they last through eating and drinking, on average I would get about 6 hours of wear with eating and drinking. It does dry out your lips a little, but its not that bad for me. Generally a great product, I would buy again.

The applicator sucks, its a brush tip and takes me longer ...
This product was a flop. I bought it after reading a few positive reviews and figured I couldn't lose out on much by trying it. The applicator sucks, its a brush tip and takes me longer than expected to brush on the product. The product itself leaves a burning sensation on my lips (not just a tingle). Takes longer than expected to dry and "seal" lipstick. But then really doesn't seal in the lip product all too well. For perhaps the first hour with the product it seems to be doing a decent job of not transferring lipstick color, but anything longer and its no good. Plus if your lip color wears off, which it is prone to doing with this product on top, and you want to reapply your original lipstick ontop, the product builds up and looks patchy and like little gross pieces of product/lip bits are falling off. I would not recommend this.
