Works for me
Don't know how many years of my life has been wasted trying to seperate paper coffee filters... NO MORE!!! I don't care enough about the environment to spend money on something like this. I'm not a coffee nerd with such a delicate palate that I can tell an improvement in taste (though it certainly didn't taste any worse than paper filters). For me, it's all selfish. Does it make my life easier or happier. This did by saving some of my sanity trying to seperate paper filters (would have given a sixth start if it could have saved ALL my sanity).A note about durability... It is reasonably durable, but could not stand up to being thrown like a fastball into the sink due to the part of my sanity that WAS'T saved by this filter. Too bad, I really liked it. Guess I'll be buying another...A note about the quality of foriegn made items... I've worked in manufacturing for over 25 years. Humans are humans and are imperfect. I've made mistakes assembling products. The person working in China and Mexico has made mistakes during assembly. Machines have had "brain" farts during manufacturing. Less than perfect products are always produced, no matter WHERE it's produced. The reason many foriegn products are so cheap compared to the U.S. is not b/c of labor rates (actually the Chinese are getting paid more than ever right now...), it's because they don't spend as much (or any at all) on quality control. Q.C. is the people and/or equipment who's main purpose is to catch those mistakes and not let them get sold to the public unless it's on a discount rack somewhere. That's why there are so many varied reviews for products made in China, Mexico and many other foriegn countries. Because some perfect items make it to customers, some less than perfect items get out the door too. The difference now-a-days is in the customer service. Better odds of getting a defective piece from many foriegn manufacturers, but the sellers are usually quick to send you another.

All metal
I love that it's all metal. All the plastic ones always brake. The filter holes could be a little bigger, would make rinsing it out easier.

No need to worry about flimsy paper filters
I love this product. Literally set it and forget it. I never have to worry about grounds in the bottom of my cup. No more flimsy paper filters for me!

Works great
OXO 8-cup coffee maker. This basket fits inside just right. Thinking 0.2mm holes sounded pretty tiny; they are just fine for my coffee, ground in a commercial burr-grinder.Some complain about low-flow-through; suspect they are grinding with a blade, so have more tiny fines. Some complain about breaking; can't comment on that after just a few days. The material is very thin so maybe needs to be handled carefully. I am happy. Thanks.

Does not fit Cuisinart
This product DOES NOT fit Cuisinart-WAY too tall. Huge disappointment, since the description specifically says that it will fit Cuisinart. The product itself looks like it would be good, but the description listed is completely wrong.

Perfect replacement for paper filters.
Came on time. Works perfectly. Better than paper filters and more durable than plastic filters.
