Works good! Better on some pans than others but still works
As others have said if you have a standard pot this is more challenging to use. But it is still useful. If you have a thinner sidewall on your pot then you just have to spin the legs around so the round cutout is facing out and it works best if it's body is sideways so the spoon is hanging over pot. Honestly I don't know why you would want the spoon sideway along pot anyway because the food will just drip on stove completely defeating the purpose of this. You will also need to just make sure your spoon is positioned just a little more top heavy over pan. (Not difficult at all) but if you have a thicker pan or one that has a round lip on top this will fit much more snug and you wouldnt have to be as careful how you lay your spoon on it. Bottom line it's still functional no matter what unless you have no common sense and if that's the case you probably shouldn't be cookingthen .
