These strings are just what I was looking for, smooth, deep tone with enough brightness. These strings gave me good volume. I play with steel string guitarist on occasion and these strings made a tremendous volume difference. They also allowed me to lower the action of the strings without getting fret buzz. The super high tension is nothing to be concerned about. There has been no notable additional strain on my guitar. I put them on a cedar top Esteve. This is my second set of these. I have played guitar for 42 years these are my favorite strings. I would be dissapointed if I had to use anything else. I receive many comments from other musicians on the tone quality being produced.

Sound and tone is outstanding
These strings from Hannabach are one of the best sounding set of strings that i have put on a guitar. I actually choose them over Savarez flamenco strings.

Dont waste your money.
I cut off a perfectly good set of strings because I wanted to try this expensive set. First string (E), broke just after 10 days. I restrung it as I had left extra on top and broke again in less than a day. I expected superb quality for this kind of money.I would give it one star, but I don't like the words " I hate it" that comes with it.This is my first negative review ever, Im sorry to say.

Nothing special but quality control issue with string length and durability
I have used these many years ago but could not remember how they performed. The top three strings are red coloured. So if you don't like that, this will put off. For me, it was not an issue and in fact it can help distinguish strings better when looking at what you are playing. So I went to put them on the guitar and all was going fine until I got to the D string. Even being as economic as possible at the bridge tie off, it was perilously short so that there was barely enough to tie it to the headstock winder. In fact it slipped at first and I had to abandon attempting a standard loose tie off and just looped it back on itself under the roller entry hole and kept my fingers crossed! Compared to the D'Addario Ej45s, these are too short and need an extra 10cm. This is particularly important for those with poor manual dexterity who may need more length to do the tie-offs. Hannabach - take note.In terms of sound, and compared to D'Addario Ej45s, the sound is thinner and slightly crisper (more trebly) with perhaps more middle tones as well. There is a little less bass. The quality of the bass E string is smoother in texture than the EJ45s so that's a plus when doing Granadinas bass slides. The top string feels thinner as well. I am not particularly wowed by these strings in terms of sound. The difference is noticeable but not amazing nor a "must have" sound and were notably more expensive than competitors. Wear-wise, it is too early to say how long they will last. But the EJ45s lasted just over two months with 1 hour daily play. I am not expecting any longer than this and will update once I know.Update: these were put on on 26/6/19. By 10/7/19, the D string had worn through at the fourth fret such I could not play any further (or risk snagging my fingers) and need to change the strings. That was after daily play for up to an hour. So that's another star gone. The sad thing is, the trebles were really responsive and bright. Very disappointing.

Intense, my brain expanded when I began wriggling my toes like Nikola Tesla said, I did get smarter. These strings are very good.

¡NO COMPRARLO!.
