Very cost-effective!!
When you spend hours comparison shopping magnesium for the best price and best absorption, it's overwhelming and frustrating. A lot of magnesium on the market is cut with cheaper, less absorbable forms of the mineral and/or fillers, binders, and junk. The more bioavailable stuff is more expensive and then you have to navigate all the labeling corruption where companies imply each capsule or tablet has more milligrams than they actually do!This one bag provides more high quality absorbable magnesium than soooo many other brands but at a better price. You are getting zero fillers or inert material, only straight magnesium that your body can actually utilize rather than flush down the sewer like magnesium citrate. The only issue is....yes, you have to drink this down if you don't want to encapsulate the powder yourself. And some nights, that can be a bit of a chore. It doesn't taste HORRIBLE but it doesn't taste great. It can be disguised in other liquids but is best taken straight. If you have empty vitamin capsules, it only takes a minute or two to fill a few capsules and get a day's worth of magnesium that way. It's a worthwhile labor for what you're getting: a top quality supplement.(You can see how much one serving looks like in my photo of the scale.)

Great price. To copy from an article about it, "This less well-known combination has been studied for use in fibromyalgia. Since malate is a substrate in the cellular energy cycle, it can help improve ATP production; there is some preliminary evidence that it may reduce muscle pain and tender points in fibromyalgia patients."

Probably just me, but--
I bought this because I thought it would be better than the magnesium oxide and magnesium chloride that I was taking for restless legs and night time cramping. Unfortunately, it gradually made the RLS worse and also gave me insomnia. So I kept taking higher doses, thinking that I wasn't getting enough magnesium. I finally, realized that while taking this I was feeling worse and getting worse. I think that it is the malic acid that I'm reacting to. Went back to magnesium oxide and magnesium chloride and feeling much better now. It is probably just me that has this problem with magnesium malate, but it is something to be aware of.

Eases muscle tension and spookiness in Type-A horses
I've been using this product, from this seller, for YEARS for my horse. At once point I thought that maybe it was just placebo effect and so I stopped giving it to him. I noticed the difference in his demeanor within about a week and a half. It took me awhile to actually decide that I wasn't imagining it and I put him back on it, going through the loading dose all over again. I am happy to say that he went right back to his (calmer) and less tense self...a much happier and safer horse.

Lasts a long time, is good on the stomach, helps sleep after a workout
I love using magnesium malate. The taste is not too bad, and is unnoticeable if you drink a bit of plain water right after while breathing through your mouth, not nose. I've used this magnesium and brand for a long time. I drink it about every other day before bed, and it helps me sleep better after a tough workout. I've also noticed that I have more energy during the day even with less sleep if I take it the night before. So it means that I'm getting better quality sleep using it. It is great for travel, jet lag, and adjusting to new time zones for me.

I like this. I take a half teaspoon every morning
I like this. I take a half teaspoon every morning. It doesn't make me groggy (malate should not), but doenst not give me energy either (it may for some people). This is a good product - equal to more expensive mag malate powders out there. This works well with the rest of my mag protocol - (mag glycinate with dinner, mag oil spray and lotion before bed, and an occasional bath or foot soak with mag flakes).

Easy to use magnesium assurance
This USA made product comes from Albion Minerals, who hold the patent on the Di Magnesium form of Malate. The extremely fine powder adds easily to any food and remains suspended in liquids because it's such a fine powder. I can't speak to the long term effectiveness or hoped for outcomes, but this seems like a sure way to have adequate bio-available Mg in my diet with a daily sprinkle on my morning food. There doesn't seem to be any flavor to get used to, just a very slight chalkiness texture, not unpleasant. Recommended daily dose is 1 teaspoon, 480 mg of magnesium, and the ziplock bag holds 141 servings.

No taste and is the same stuff in a more expensive Magnesium brand
Not much taste, so you can mix it with just about anything, even water...although, it turns your water white. Love taking it this way without all the fillers.
