I don't know what I expected but I won't buy this again and do not recommend it. If you simply need coffee quickly then as it's on prime it is possible, but if you just want any coffee quickly then there are definitely better and far less expensive choices.When I order coffee like this I expect they know what they're doing. Perhaps it is a complication of listing your product through amazon? I don't know.What I received was almost 4 months since the roast date! That is awful. That is stale coffee.If you know your fresh roast coffee you can get away with using it up to about 2 weeks after the roast date, but it's really in that first few days after the roast that you get the best flavours. This tastes almost of nothing, as per you'd expect for such an old coffee. For those who use espresso machines as well, it's even worse, as my espresso machine isn't worth firing up unless it's super fresh.So that's that. It is coffee but I wouldn't bother with it if you actually enjoy coffee!

Normally I don't bother writing reviews as theirs more in my life to be getting on with but felt I had to with this Coffee. I love my Coffee in the morning and after work and was looking for a decent coffee supply as my last lot stopped supplying. I had high hopes with this Brand and liked the fact it was a Single origin at a decent price per KG but what a bad mistake!I was very underwhelmed when I opened the packet and didn't really get a pungent coffee smell at all, the beans were dry with no oils and this showed with the lack of any crema once extracted. It really lacked any taste at all, no depth and an overly bitter edge. I have tried a varying amount of grind dialling and the results are all the same. The beans were already over two months old when delivered which was also disappointing as I like to start my beans about two weeks after roasting. I wouldn't recommend at all, and will go back to another Brand for the time being and the search will go on for a go to coffee.17th April update.I've added an extra star, not for the coffee but the excellent customer service. I was offered a refund on the coffee and an offer to choose another coffee which would also be refunded. 5 star for the customer service but only 2 star for this particular coffee. Hopefully my new purchase is yummier!

I made the mistake of trusting Amazon to show the search results I was looking for.I searched for expresso strength coffee beans ( strength 4 to 5 ) & in the results I found these beans. I wish I checked the strength. These are only strength 2, far to mild for my taste.However, the flavour is excellent, quality is excellent, just a pity its too mild.It won't go to waste, we go go through a Kg of beans in no time.Previous purchases of this brand have been excellent, just I made a mistake this time.I only wish the search facilities with Amazon would actually give you the results you're looking for instead of their choice, how do they list beans of strength 2 when you search for beans strength 4+ ?

I was a long term annual subscriber to the excellent HasBean Coffee before they almost doubled their price a few years back (probably quite fairly.) Since then I've been looking to find that perfect coffee.. Ok this one isn't quite perfect, but it's the closest I've come since and good value for money too for single origin beans. Its been the only coffee I've bought repeatedly through choice, rather than necessity at the supermarket. It's on the fruitier side but really well balanced and not sickeningly so. Mellow but by no means weak. If you're looking for 'Starbucks' coffee, this isn't for you. if you like a dark or burnt roast, this isn't for you. If you like you're coffees to act like a shot of adrenaline then this probably isn't for you. Best suited to pour-over or Aeropress. I'd also recommend the Brazil and Colombian coffees in their line up too if you're taste leans a bit darker.

These coffee beans have a wonderful aroma, that even permeates from their storage jar. Freshly ground just before use, the resulting coffee has a great, distinctive flavour and tastes like good coffee should. If you're thinking of trying this Ethiopian variety, then please do so as you'll not be disappointed. Coffee Masters' delivery was very quick, and even the postman remarked on the wonderful aroma emanating from the sealed packaging. Highly Recommended.

Hmmmm.Taste is okay but I am literally using 1.5 times the about of beans that I normally do per cup.I like a light roast but this is very very week. Not sure if it is because the roast was so old. As an ex coffee shop owner, I know fresh beans, and I know Sidamo. These were not fresh at all.Good flavour but works out very expensive due to the amount of coffee required to make a good brew. I have now blended with some dark roast Vietnamese. A good call.If only my local roaster was still open!! Damn COVID!!

The coffee is quite good, having a really good taste and flavour but I think is too expensive. I will recommend that for a morning fresh coffee with a nice flavour.

It took me a while to find the best coffee seller. Coffee Masters are great. Their coffee is excellent for every purchase. It’s well packed and arrives on time. I will stay with them.
