We are a family who loves to go camping, being outside on picnics and sitting nightly in the back porch. These Citronella candies are the perfect size. The scent they give off is pleasant. The flame and candles burn nicely, and do not burn, stop and waste. They are solid, well made candles. Lastly, the little tin containers are extremely nice. I like the size, scent, and look of the metal tin. The wick lights well, and there were a bunch of candles to spread out. I used these to line outdoor steps, and some on the table. I found that many of them leaked wax out the bottom, so I had to clean waxy circles off the table and steps as best as I could. It's a textured table, so I couldn't get it all up, but I'm not too concerned about the condition of the table. I never would expect a candle to leak from the bottom. They were cute candles, but I'll have to put a plate underneath to use them again.

Helped with the monster mosquitos in our backyard but didn't completely rid us of them.They do smell nice and are a good deal for the price. They will completely melt outisde in the direct sun but solidify once cooled down.Each one burns for about an hour.

I love this product. The small metal buckets are durable and perfect for outdoor use. Candles has strong citronella scent are very effective to repel bugs and mosquitoes. Highly recommend this gift set whether you buy it for personal use or gifting.

The candles are very nice. Used in the pool area and they are wonderful because of the metal containers - not glass! They made a very nice presentation by grouping a couple of candles together. I have already placed an order for three more boxes to have for the future!

So far I have used three of the candles. Each one of them has leaked a lot of wax once the candle is half-way consumed, the first two made a mess on the surface I put them on, the third one I had to put inside a container to keep the wax from leaking onto my furniture. The scent is nice, and the candles do help keep mosquitoes away, but I would not get these candles ever again, who wants a candle that leaks? What is the purpose of putting the candle in a metal container if the container does not keep the wax from leaking? Not buying these again.

these work great in the nice candles that are already spent and gone. I just sit these little guys down in my ceramic containers and use outside.

We have been using these for the last few weeks when we eat or sit outside in our yard. We have been experiencing problems with flies and yellow jackets and these candles seem to discourage them from bothering us. They are on the smaller side which I actually like. We use 2-3 on the table. Make sure to bring them inside out of the sun during the day or they will melt.
