Hands down, the best restaurant in Connecticut and one of the best we have been to anywhere, including some pretty fancy spots. At first blush many months ago, the menu appeared too challenging for me and certainly for my husband who is a very fussy eater. But we loved Le Farm and were drawn in by the vibe of The Whelk so we decided to give it a try. Nice bar, great location by the water (hope they do brunch in the summer). Food is really good. Had the Octopus Poutine and it was really nicely done, great spice with the harissa. Also had the Oyster Loaf. Again, very nicely done, spicy cole slaw was a great addition. Would love to see menu expand a little and beer list evolve. Service is good considering it has only been open 1 week, not surprising considering previous experience at Le Farm. Looks like Taibe has another hit.-yelp.com
