I am a 66 year old woman who is recovering from a massive stroke and then from having two tumors and the muscle removed from my left calf. Thank God nothing was malignant. My leg is still hurting and the muscle removed will not grow back. Walking is difficult and I live in the northeastern snowy part of America. I can't wear jeans because anything that rubs on my leg is extremely painful. Finding these above-the-knee compression socks has been a glorious gift! They fit properly, stay above the knee, and don't rub or change position on my legs. I can now be warm while wearing dresses instead of jeans because these socks are wonderful. I learned that after washing them, I shouldn't put them in the dryer; they shrink. I was them and hang them to dry. I have purchased many more pairs in many colors and highly recommend them.

So I like everything about these socks. They hit me perfectly and don’t slide. The ONLY thing I don’t like is the picture of the pack makes the brown look like a burnt orange/red/brown. Very fall-like. So when I got it and it ended up being a chocolate brown I was super sad. Part of the reason I got this exact pack wasn’t for that color so I’m pretty disappointed. Will be returning so I can get the color I wanted.

I was skeptical about the other reviews discussing how warm these socks are and decided to find out for myself. Today it was around 18 degrees Fahrenheit and I set out in a skirt and these socks. They actually kept me warm! Granted, if skin was exposed, the socks obviously won't help but if you pull them up under your skirt (provided your skirt is long enough) it works like a charm. I will say, they're not magic: they will slip down with enough friction from daily activities such as sitting, standing and so on. But overall, they stayed up above the knees which was great.

These are perfect for what i wanted! I wear skirts all the time but HATE wearing tights and panty hose because they are always so tight at the waist.These are as thick as a heavy as a tight, but not thick like a boot sock, so I can wear them with my dress shoes.They keep my legs covered and warm , they sit just above the knee so Ill be able to wear them with skirts that are a little shorter than my usual maxi skirts. They are not tight and restrictive. I got Coffee, grey, black and light grey and the colors are so subtle and pretty! LOVE THESE!!

Love these thigh high socks! Damn they’re sexy. Fit was perfect. Would definitely buy another set in different colors!!!

I LOVE over the knee socks and these are no exception. My last purchase was from a different company (a 2-pack for the same price of this 4-pack). The other socks were thicker and felt more hand knitted. These are similar to a good dress sock only longer with a luxurious, soft feel.In the photo I’m wearing the gray socks over a pair of skinny jeans. They are a bit scrunched in places so could be pulled even further up the leg. They honestly feel as soft as bamboo yarn.

I was a little hesitant to buy these at first cause I read that they fit right on the thighs and I’m happy that they fit just right. I have nice beefy thighs from doing a lot of leg work outs and stuff. They fit good not tight to the point that they cut my circulation. I love the colors and they are pretty warm and comfy

I will admit, these are pretty awesome! I am 5'2 about 120 lbs and these go to about the middle of my thigh. They are snug at the top but not strangling tight. I haven't had a problem with them sliding down except for sitting and getting up but that's to be expected imo. I wore these outside yesterday and to my surprise they helped keep my legs warm! They aren't like pants but still made a good difference. The fabric is soft and there's no weird smell or anything either. I would definitely recommend!

After receiving these socks I gifted them to my partner as I thought she would like something like this. They do look nice but they are incredibly tight if you have thick thighs. I can say that she has not worn these since I have bought them for her and I can see why as after wearing them for some time on the day I gifted them it was clear that these were too tight and her legs were suffering from strangulation. I would recommend if you have quite thin thighs but for those girls who have a bit of meat on their legs I would stray away to be honest.
