I love these bottles that I buy every color of them. And only problem is they’re guaranteed for life but you cannot get a hold of anybody for the company to replace it for you when it breaks. The mouthpiece always falls off and you have to replace it a lot

I bought this after my previous CamelBak had gotten to the end of its life. The new locking mechanism works better, although it’s unfortunately difficult to get open again. Not too bad, but noticeable. The rubbery top is much more secure and has not leaked at all, but it comes at the cost of also needing more tooth pressure to open the rubber bit to drink from. I’d say an overall improvement, but most of the changes came at some cost.

This is my fourth Camelbak Eddy - but the first since the redesign. The bite valve is indeed now concave instead of convex, which feels a bit odd but works fine. I had read reviews of folks saying it was very difficult to get the water out, I didn't find this to be the case. You do have to bit the valve a bit differently than before, but not a big deal. I also had read several reviews that claimed this one leaked - I also don't find that to be the case, I've rolled it around, carried it upside down and sideways - no leaks. Another noticeable change is that previously the bite valve kind of 'locked' either in the upright or closed down position. With this new design, it still locks 'down' but when it is upright, it easily pushes/flops back a bit when you touch it. (I noticed when I pushed it back to lock for the first time.) All in all, it still works great and is very solidly built with no leaking, so I'm happy!!

I was really liking my camelback bottle until I took it to the beach and found that the small amount of sunscreen I had on my hands ruined the plastic. I either cannot wash the sunscreen off the bottle or the sunscreen has dulled the plastic permanently. I’m so disappointed. This is a warning that if you care for your bottle to remain clean and new looking for a long time, DO NOT TOUCH THE BOTTLE WITH SUNSCREEN ON!

Easy to clean. After about a week of use it leaks. Having to bite and suck at the same time is challenging to explain and do for little ones.

First time washing it my wife didn't know about the straw inside, and couldn't find it when it didn't work.... won't work without the straw. So now it's useless.

Nice looking bottle and the quality is great but I hate the straw. You have to be some sort of bite master to get the water out. If you’re parched you won’t be able to chug water at all and the straw inside keeps falling off and bouncing around inside the bottle. I wouldn’t buy it again.

This is the first time I have bought this particular bottle. Previously used other camel bak (eddy) range for past 7 yrs with no issues and long lasting. This bottle leaks and cannot be used for school. Unable to return the camel bak website is difficult to return given costs under warranty.

Love camelbac bottles but this is a disappointment. The changes from the older model are slightly better with the leaks but the new design sucker does leak at times and makes it harder to clean. Disappointing that the colour on picture is blue but detailed written description is yellow. Very confusing for customers. This is a blue bottle, not yellow. I have made the company aware and they haven’t changed their descriptions so clearly don’t care about confusing customers.

It’s ok but had a fault. I think with the valve- so mostly it was hard to get water out and then one day it just leaked uncontrollably and made my bag soaking wet. I’d only had it a couple of weeks so have returned it. Very disappointing. I think I’ll stick to the original version in future.

Great product

I don't write reviews but felt compelled to given his awful this product is. Not sure it can call itself a drink bottle when water doesn't even flow out of it and make a ridiculous sound as you desperate try to take a sip.
