VR Cover for Valve Index - Washable Hygienic Cotton Cover (2 pcs)

Life saver. Can't fault it. Easy to use, never had it get in my view or come off whilst using it. With the index face gasket being so hard to clean these things really are an essential purchase.If you have multiple members of the family using one headset these are even more worth while, as everyone can have their own cover. If you're going to play a lot of intense vr you may want 4 of these instead of 2 as they will be wet with sweat after an hour or so (assuming you sweat during your games), so its nice to have a fresh one to swap out to. Better if you have 4 as you can always cycle two in the wash and two in use.Clean these often. You wouldn't work out in a vest all day and not clean it, so make sure you clean these everytime you use them, else you're going to get bad skin and other problems. This issue is of course much much worse without the covers as it's very hard to clean the stock face gasket

I opted for these because I've no idea when Valves own spare gaskets are going to be back in stock, they cover the gasket as shown in the pictures nicely, it adds a little bit of comfort to it also, better than without I'd say, comfortable for long non sweaty sessions.I bought these because sweat is a problem with the Index, I'd say you've got 30 to 45min before you'd be wanting to change it if you don't want sweat to seep through to the gasket, depending on how much you sweat, I get quite animated and really go at it with the likes of Beatsaber and fighting games, so half an hour is about accurate for me; it's not an ideal solution, especially for the price, unless you can dry one out before the next one gets wet and £22 is a tad pricey for what you get, I'd of preferred to pay less and have had the 5 wipes omitted, the covers feel more like £10 to £15 for the pair.

On the one hand they work and are decent enough, not "as" comfortable as the native Valve cloth, but still comfortable enough, even as someone with a larger face so as described they are pretty good and help soak up that sweat during a beat saber sesh, obviously way easier to clean.But on the other hand. these are way, waay too expensive for what you get, effectively a couple of cloths with elastic hooks to go round the magnetic connections on your visor and a number of wipes, they obviously know theres not much else on the market currently.I guess it comes down to how much you use your index for a workout, if you sweat a lot, these are great, if you don't, save your money you really don't need this.

So firstly this is the alternate to the full gasket, but for the cheaper price, 1000% worth it, used for around 100 hours of hard vr play, and they super easy to clean and replace. Perfect for anyone who wants to keep the index fresh and not sticking on sweat every-time they put there headset on. If you already destroyed your headset foam, you still smell it with this on, so go for the full gasket replace so you have a fresh surface on your face. Nice not as well, stops spots forming around your eyes from your pours being blocked.

i have used other VR headset covers and all of them even the original give me a bad rash around my face but this one is perfect its easy to install, easy to clean, very comfortable and it doesnt give me a rash so im very happy 5*

Like many other reviewers have said, IT IS NOT COMFORTABLE. I wonder if those who said otherwise were deluded or were just leaving dishonest reviews.I bought the cover towards end of 2020 cor my Valve Index headset gasket. It is scratchy (i.e. not a soft material) and much less soft than the gasket without a cover. It leaves a harsh pressure mark all the way along my forehead from the seamline at the top, despite trying to readjust it constantly. It doesn't fit perfectly, particularly at the bottom towards the nose, with just 3 little elastic loops to hold it on. I really want to keep my headset gasket clean and free from any sweat and oils of people using it. But I just can't sit through a 2 hour movie with this scratchy cover. Do not buy this and think you weren't warned. You just have been.

This cover is a nice idea and on balance probably a good alternative to buying new gaskets. The mask isn't as comfortable with the cover on, but it certainly isn't uncomfortable. This cover doesn't actually fit very well towards the bottom of the mask and the ends can ruck up a little. The covers are also very expensive for what they are and only getting five wipes included is a absolute joke. If these were half the price then I would be inclined to recommend them. But £22 is daylight robbery.

It’s comfy but just doesn’t stop that much sweat, after removing its obvious it’s just soaked through the cover into the face gasket. With such a steep price I would expect a lot more. Not worth

I bought these because in vr moving around a lot makes you sweat and that causes acne.These two little cloths that sit over your gasket make it so that you can swap them out if you start to work up a sweat and can throw them in the wash to be as good as new.Only downside is that the pictures for the product doesn’t even show what you are getting just what it looks like already on the gasket of the headset, witch for the price some people may get confused when they buy it as the price is a little steep and may be thinking they are getting a new face gasket’s to swap out only to find two little cotton covers that go over you old face gasket.

Tessuto morbido e apprezzabile, non comodo come il materiale originale dell'Index ma onestamente per il vantaggio di poterlo lavare, è trascurabile. Consigliato.

Se ajustan bastante bien al visor y traspiran igual o mejor que la almohadilla original.Si eres de hacer ejercicio con la VR y te suda mucho la cara es mucho más cómodo tener 2 almohadillas intercambiables para ir lavando que arriesgarse a estropear el plástico o la espuma de la originalSobre todo si te gusta compartir la VR con amigos y familia no les vas a dejar un visor sudado., aunque estaría bien que hicieran otro cover para la parte de la nuca.
