Good read.
Elf School - An OK story about elves and what they do after going to elf school. The drawings are interesting and filled with details. There are jokes, activities and free activity downloads. While good, it is not in the same class as the first book we read by this author, Merry Fairy Halloween, which my grandkids recommend wholeheartedly. My kiddoes did not get too involved with this book. It was all old hat to them; we do a lot of traditions already so nothing excited the critters. Several kept wanting to reread Merry Fairy Halloween. (I have six book reading grandkids.) 3*Merry Fairy Halloween - This is our first read by this author and everyone loved it!Written for the younger set, some of my older grandkids enjoyed it, too. The storyline was sweet and fun. Everyone got a kick out of the corny Halloween jokes at the end of the story. The drawings are of big-eyed cutiepies. They are enjoyable to look at and plenty of items for the little ones to drool over, not literally.Simplistic but sweet with kindness and togetherness as the main themes topped off with "pretty pictures". 5*

Love the activities in the back!
This book was a cute introduction to Christmas traditions for my kids, and included a bunch of suggested holiday activities like Christmas charades, maxes and suggested acts of kindness that we will surely be doing this rainy weekend.

I love how imaginative this story is. So cute. I can see myself reading this to a group of kids.
