Fit perfect and easy install dryer running like a champ again

If your dryer is squeaking, squealing, or being generally LOUD, there's a good chance you could use a new belt and tensioner pulley. I replaced this part on my dryer, and now it no longer chirps at me when I start it up. It doesn't squeak for several minutes while it warms up.Do a search on youtube for your brand/model dryer, and find a video that shows you how to replace this part. It's an easy repair and you'll thank me when you're done. Ahhhh, peace and quiet.I've bought more than one of these, so they don't seem to be quite as durable as the original part. But the first one did last a couple of years before I needed to replace again. OEM is quite a bit more, but it will likely last longer. The original part lasted over a decade.

My dryer stopped working during a cycle and with research I found out a broken belt activates a safety switch in all/most models. Found the replacement belt number online and came to Amazon. Belt arrived in maybe 3 days tops. Disassembled the dryer and got the belt on which had a good fit, changed out the tensioner pulley with the spare one included. Did a 20min cycle and all ran well aside from the break in smell (as I'll call it) of a new belt rolling around a drum. Happy with my purchase; it wasn't an expensive fix, I recommend this brand, I got a couple other "cheap" parts from this brand to try to fix the dryer prior to finding out it was the belt. Side note my dryer is secondhand and over 20 years old, the amount of lint inside the machine was unbelievable (pic attached), plan to disassemble in 6 months to see how much accumulates around wiring/components.

This worked for Kenmore Elite model 110.77032601. The kit includes a separate wheel, and that’s what I used. The bracket with the wheel attached did not fit correctly. I removed the old wheel from the metal bracket, slid the new wheel on (including the washers), and put the metal bracket back on. Not too bad. I had to approach my repair from the back of the dryer.
