Consult a qualified professional if you have questions regarding this product, its installation, or the electrical code in your area.I wanted to add a GFI to an exterior box, but there wasn't room for it - so I decided to use a breaker inside and a regular outlet outside. It worked fine and was easy to install. If you are qualified to work in an electrical panel/subpanel, then this will be no problem for you (if you don't know what you're doing or aren't sure you can, hire a qualified electrician - remember that in your main panel, even with the main breaker off, there are still very dangerous levels of current present in some areas).For anyone looking for more on specs, this is a regular size, single pole, BR-style cutler hammer/eaton breaker for 20A 120V AC circuits. You connect the neutral for the circuit that would normally connect to your neutral bar to the breaker and then then white coiled neutral on the breaker to your bus bar. The hot wire is connected as normal (there are 2 lugs, one marked with a white circle).I have used these before - my first 15A didn't work out of the box - but since then have not had problems, and would use them again. They are smaller than the GE BR breakers (think shorter left-right when mounted, giving you a bit more room to route wires), but that may not be code in your area. I have both GE and Cutler-Hammer panels/subpanels, and my electrician uses only the cutler-hammer as he says they are better quality and mechanically interchangeable. Check with your local AHJ if you are unsure if this is permitted in your area.

What can you say about a circuit breaker, I hope I never have to see how effective it is. It was the right part as advertised, it installed as usual, the test button works fine.
