We ordered this as a shed suit for our dog. He's a Shiba mix, we travel to see family a lot and we wanted to get something to help contain his hair during high shed seasons. It works just fine for that, it catches the hair that it covers. What I didn't expect was how calm it made him. He's a decently calm dog but he gets some separation anxiety when we leave and can be overly excited to see us when we get home because of it (sweet but also kind of sad). Today we left to go to an appointment and came home, normally he is anxiously waiting for us to come in the door after he hears the garage open but today I walked in and turned on the light to find him passed out. It was really sweet and unexpected.

I was nervous with this being a China cheapy but it's very good quality. Usually my dog is a large based on her length and deep chest but I followed the measurements in the listing and got her a medium and it fits perfectly. It's hard to find clothes for an Irish Setter and our rescue is growing her coat back so we got this as a base layer to protect the areas normal coats don't cover. The zipper does cover her pee parts when fully zipped which makes sense for good coverage over a spay suture, but the zipper ends at the back so only need to unzip a few inches before going out to potty. Love this and will be ordering more. 5 for the price of 1 Shed Defender brand. Incredible. Last two photos show unzipped in case she needs to potty while outside.

Our German Shepard loves her ‘super suit’ it acts as both a thunder jacket and a shed control suit. We leave it on her 3 days at a time and brush her in between wears. I wish the sizing was a little more accurate because our pup is 70 lb. I bought the XL but I should have gotten the XXL

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  My Shih Tzu has allergies to all dog food and a lot of people food. This lil suit covers him and stops him from chewing and scratching himself bloody. It’s also is beneficial if I have to apply coconut oil to his skin to give him relief and keep the oil off my furniture. I bought 2 so i can always have 1 clean. It’s was a lot less expensive than the one they advertise on T.V. I did have to cut the legs a bit, there was no need to hem the fabric does not run.

I'm am extremely happy with this purchase. I was hesitant to buy after reading the reviews but I'm glad I did! I bought this solely to contain the shedding when he his at relatives houses (he loves to leave lots little white hairs all over their furniture). Listen to the comments when they say it runs small. My guy is a 60lb lean built pitty (keel chested). I ordered an XL and it fits extremely well, snug but not constricting. It's a thin material that has a bit of stretch to it but not a lot. I didn't buy as something to keep him warm but I believe if would do the trick for chilly fall weather in the northeast but not the dead of winter. Zipper works well. The suit zips allong his abdomen all the way to his tail. (So not something he would wear outside as he has no holes to do his business though) I will say I could leave it only zipped to his stomach and he would be able to go outside with it on then. Over all I am extremely happy with it and my guy finds it comfortable as well.

I choose the size based in the information given Xxl would fit based on our dogs weight 55-60lb. I received it. It is very large and on the package says that an XXL is for 90-150lb. Do not order based on seller information.

Bot true to the size I ordered a large according to the size chart and it's too small. I couldn't even zip it up.

I returned a size x-large for my 60# English Yellow lab because it was too tight and too short ($50 version) - then I ordered an xxlarge from this place for 1/3 the price. It was exactly the same product, just not on Prime. It was larger, but still bound under the front legs. My dog would not move with this on. (He is used to wearing coats and even boots.) I left it on him for several hours and he wouldn't move until I took it off. Also it seemed to make him itch both times I tried it. We are using this for a skin condition that I wanted to cover, and it made him itch - so not good. I can't return this one because he wore it, but it will be thrown out.
