Gillette VenusTreasures Disposable Women's Razors, 6 Count

I have used many brands of disposable razors and these are by far the best I have come across. Love how close of a shave you get and perfect for travel because you do not have to pack shave cream.

I got a close shave. I have RA in my hands and wrists, the razor was easy for me to hold.

Gillette Venus had been my go-to razors for years, but the high cost prompted me to to try Dollar Shave Club. DSC's 5-blade razor was a good deal, but I kept nicking myself because their razors aren't designed for women. I ended up switching to a female-friendly subscription service, and I'm quite happy with it...but it's not so convenient for travel. I don't want to risk forgetting my reusable handle in a hotel or have to switch razor heads just so I can pack one with a cover. I find it far easier to use a disposable razor for travel...so I'm back to Gillette Venus once again!Gillette really knows how to design a women's razor, with a gently rounded head, protective cushions above and below the blades, and a moisturizing strip over the uppermost blade so you can shave in the shower without a separate shave cream. The handle is comfortably contoured and has a textured area just behind the razor head, so you can rest the finger that guides the blade and not have to worry about the razor sliding out of your slippery, wet hands. The handles of these Venus Treasures also have a variety of interesting patterns, and each razor has a cover over the blades so you can pack it without having to worry about your bag getting sliced up or your blades getting dull.If Gillette priced its 5-blade razors more in line with subscription services, I'd probably still be using Venus as my day-to-day razor. But for now, I plan to always keep a package of disposable Venus razors on hand for travel. So whether you're looking for a convenient travel razor or you prefer purchasing razors as needed (rather than committing to a recurring subscription service), I can highly recommend Gillette Venus Treasures!

The Gillette Venus Treasures disposable razors are great to use when traveling since it’s convenient but they don’t work well for me for typical daily use. I have soft blonde to dark blonde body hair and these razors tend to get clogged much faster than some other disposal ones I’ve used in the past. Plus since my hair is softer I find these blades just glide over rather than cutting them. I need to swipe one area, rinse blade then swipe 1-2 more times to get a close shave. They did work great on my daughter who has light brown body hair that is courser and so she’s enjoying them. But if you have soft blonde hair I’d pass on these.
