Great effective fabric jointer product
I had the need to change the size of some blankets due to a change in bed size. Have access to a sewing machine but had never worked with something the size of a large blanket. Did not have the confidence not being someone who used a sewing machine with much practice. So thought of going with the fabric glue method. In looking for what products were available, stumbled upon this product. Truth be told, I thought it was too good to be true. Overstated advertising. In practice, it was not overstated in the least, maybe not stated strongly enough that it works, is easy to use, does a great job, and looks as good as a manufactured stitched heam though not stitched. The tape applied easily and straight despite the ease with which a fluffy blanket material can move. Fully satisfied. When I showed my wife my work, she commented how good it looked. She was surprised at the result. Note - I double-folded the heam using two applications of the tape. Apply tape to the first fold. Fold the material again applying a second row of tape on top of the material just tapped, then press together. This leaves two rolled edges, one inside and one out making a great look with no material edge showing. And the use of the blanket shows the strength of the heam requiring no concern for separation. And there is no heating of the product or fabric required, as it fuses with the fabric immediately and to remove will damage the material as it has fused to the material.

Washed once and still works
I have pants that drag on the ground and I end up stepping on the hems. I bought new shoes that are even lower, so I needed a way to hem my pants without buying a sewing machine or having to hem so many pairs myself. I tried small black safety pins at first even, but they have a puckly look.I turned the pants inside out. Using this tape, I used the safety pins to hold the fabric in place then removed the backing of the tape to tape the hem up. The tape has strong adhesion, and it can be hard to move the hem once you put the fabric together. My pants are a cotton-stretchy black material blend (not jeans). I put the pants in the dryer and let the heat bond the tape as the instructions indicated.I wore my two pairs of pants for a 8 day vacation and came back and washed them. The hem has stayed intact. When I wash them a few more times and when/if the hem comes undone, I will update my review, but in the mean-time, the tape works well.

Sometimes works, sometimes doesn’t
I love double sided permanent fabric tape because it makes projects easy, but this item isn’t consistent. I ordered two rolls and one was great, but the other one barely adheres.

AWESOME PRODUCT
I sew a lot as I make doll clothes. This stuff is awsome. When you are stitching in a small area, this is a great substitute for actual stitching. Many doll clothes have the velcro closures stitched on very shoddily. I put a piece of this under the closure and it sticks. I use it to put on accessories and to secure hems and seams and such that ravel. If you are working with cheaper items, this tape will make them sturdy. I have never washed it so I can't speak to that. It is quicker than sewing many times. The only caveat is that you have to have several pairs of cheap scissors since the tape adheres to them when you repeatedly cut it. I keep a jam jar of mineral spirits and I soak my scissors in them and the tape comes right off. Mineral spirits are just a stronger dose of nail polish remover. You can use nail polish remover but it takes a little longer. I never use my good sewing scissors with this tape. I have been using it for years. If they ever stop making it, I will cry, a lot.

Worked Great for a basic hem
Worked Great for a basic hem. It can be a bit frustrating to remove the barrier plastic from the sticky tape. The best approach I found was to take the end of the tape for an inch or two, then stick it to a hard impervious finish. Then use your finger nail to separate the barrier only a inch or so, wrinkle or fold the barrier end so it does not re-stick itself. Then cut off desired amount leaving the barrier intact and gently & straightly remove from the impervious finish. Place the cut amount on to the desired fabric surface-sticky side down, pressing on the barrier side for better adhesion. Then pull off barrier and so you can apply the mating fabric. Repeat for next section.
