GT104 - Guitar Grimoire - The Rhythm Guitar Book

Listen to the negative reviews, this book is unfortunately NOT a rhythm guitar exercise book. It’s more of a music theory fundamentals of basic guitar chords and very very basic strumming for a beginner. I was looking for a book with exercises and patterns so I could vary and level up my rhythm guitar skills. This is NOT it. Guess I’ll keep looking and stick with the “Guitar Grimoire Exercise Book” (which is substantive and excellent).

Rhythm books need an audio cd/mp3 to accompany it.I got everything else in the Guitar Grimoire series and they're fantastic...but this book is 1/10th the length of the others and the information is pretty....useless.It tries to teach triplet timing....by having you read "1 ah tah 2 ah tah". |That's not how this works....that's not how any of this works. You need to hear this stuff to understand what it is, you can't read music (I'm a guitarist shut up reading music isn't real).

Book was exactly as advertised... no surprises.

Let me start with I love some of the Grimoire books. This one though sucks. It's brief and I was expecting a dictionary full of rhythm exercises utilizing chords and scales. I'll use this book as a coffee coaster... huge let down.. If Amazon had had a sneak peak pages view before ordering I would have passed. Oh the risks of online ordering sometimes... ugh..I got this book because I loved the exercise book, the chord book and the chord progression and improvisation books.
