66fit Aqua Buoyancy Swimming Belt - Floatation Jogging Hydrotherapy Swim Pool

The belt is perfect for pool running and doesn’t slide up during a 45 minute session. I wear it with the rounded part pointed downwards (writing upside down) and can move my arms comfortably. Other reviewers mention the strap is excessively long however that is easily remedied by threading it back in itself through the slots in the belt. This also keeps it secure and stops the belt slipping. Obviously it has to be done up tightly as the water pressure causes it to loosen ever so slightly. I’m a size 8 and it fits perfectly with about 15 cm gap so would be ok for someone smaller. The measurement given in the description is misleading as the belt measures 67cm. I have no problems with it rubbing my swimming costume. Overall does the job and is reasonably priced.

I bought this for pool running and enthusiastically took it straight to the pool assuming it would be simple to adjust in situ. Oh no. It was so ridiculously big, even after pulling the only obvious adjustment to its limit, that I thought I must have been sent the wrong size, and it was disappointingly unusable. It was only afterwards that I was able to spend the time working out that I needed to pull and thread the strap back on itself, through the float, in order to shorten it. For info, I'm at the higher end of the stated weight range for the small size, being 65kg (it is up to 70kg) so it's not as if I'm tiny! The strap is definitely way too long for anyone who would meet the weight criteria. Once the size is resolved it could also do with some padding on the front strap/connector as this is against your skin/swimsuit and has to be pulled tight for the float to fit correctly. The float itself looks fine and I'm sure it will be useful now I've adjusted the strap properly.In summary: the product is let down by its incompatible strap length, which is too long and fiddly to adjust. It would benefit from being shorter, having adjusters on both sides, or at least clear 'before use' instructions! It would then benefit from some padding on the strap to prevent digging in or chaifing.

Great for having some fun with. This belt works in providing buoyancy and a decent amount. If your not careful you can float forwards face first in the water or backwards, but I liked that as it meant I used my core more. The big downside to this is the black belt part. It seemed to expand or slip with time and ended up und my armpits. I had to stop several times to tighten this part. This isn't a problem for me as I wasn't in a class, just using by myself so I could stop, but if you were in an aerobics class it would be annoying I'm sure. I also used it to jog in the water and do leg exercises, this meant it didn't bother me it rode up as I wasn't using my arms too much, but the higher this rides the more difficult it would be to exercise your upper body. I will continue to use this and have no problems with the downsides but I know it wouldn't be suitable for over energetic exercising or water aerobics. Once it expands it can also be used under your bum as a seat!

I use this for deep water running in the pool. It is really good for this. I'm size 16 and it fits well and would probably be fine for size 12 and 14 but no smaller. I have at least 12 inches of the fabric belt too long so will cut that off but means it'd fit people bigger than me. It doesn't ride up under my armpits if I pull belt really tight. I've ordered 2 more for friends and family to use when they come to visit and we can DWR together.

This product is truly amazing. It helps boost confidence in the pool. I feel like I can’t do more swimming whilst using the belt. I have even mentioned it to others who also lack confidence

I have used my belt once so far , noticed the difference on the day. Think I should have ordered in a small but it still does the job. Try and click the belt up very tightly , i noticed that if you don't the belt will ride up and rub underneath the arm pits. I know now what to do and cant wait to use it again on Friday.The quality is good , i noticed some other swimmers with their belts which looked floppy, this belt is sturdy which gives me confidence when jogging.

It is impossible to test this life belt without submerging it in water. So you wouldn’t be able to return it if it had been used. It is nearly a metre long and how you can take it in a suitcase on holiday defeats me. There are no instructions which probably should say, when wet this will bend around your body?? If you tri d to fold it when dry , surely it would snap in half. Not a good product for us.

Bought this for a holiday for my 6 year old daughter as did my friend for her 8 year old daughter as it was recommended by their special needs school.So glad I did!!! It fit securely, was comfortable and held her in the water in a position that she was able to use her arms and legs to move herself around! She also wore it poolside so there were no worries of her slipping in as most flotation devices have to keep being removed and put back on. I would highly recommend this product to anyone! I did not spend the entire holiday feeling on edge and believe me she is fearless in water! She was jumping in wearing it and pretty much keeping up with her brothers in their play. Absolutely fantastic product I will use this again.
