This is a awesome beautiful knife. It is by far the sharpest knife that I've ever owned. A bit pricey but in this case you get what you pay for.

I love this knife! The blade is cut and polished in such a way that it reveals all the many layers in a beautiful pattern. the "damascus" layers can also easily be seen at the edge of the blade, where you can see the steel core with the damascus layers "sandwiched" together on either side. The tiger wood pattern on the handle is also very nice! The sheath is decent, and looks nice, but has one flaw. The back of the enclosure snap is exposed to the wood handle when the knife is in the sheath and will damage it. I noticed it upon first use and carefully tested it by inserting the knife carefully and closing it, then removing it very carefully, and discovered it made a dent impression in the wood handle. It was a very small dent and rubbing it with my fingernail, I was able to smooth it out. I repeated this process by switching the knife direction and verified that it wasn't already there and that reversing the knife did not help. I had the same circular depression in the wood of the handle, which I was again able to rub out over time. I almost was going to return the knife, but discovered an easy fix and temporary solution. For now, whenever I put the knife in the sheath I put the leather lanyard under the snap as I insert the knife. A more permanent, but simple solution, will be to get a small piece of felt, leather, or some other material and line that area in the sheath so it can't make contact with the wooden handle. I'm glad I was able to find a simple work around, because I really like this knife and did not want to return it.

I got to say this is my favorite knife ever. The ball bearings means it opens as fast as a spring assist. And it's very noce looking. I highly recommend it.

I love the looks and the quality of the knife. The blade hardness is lower than the described 59 rc. Also wish it had a pocket clip because it is large in your pocket for every day carry.
