Sexual Sanity for Men: Re-creating Your Mind in a Crazy Culture

My husband has been working through this book and he has been very pleased. It is rather in depth and up front about sin, which he wanted and needed. More than that, it gets deep, deep into your relationship with Jesus. I haven't been going through the book with him, but he has shared some very profound thoughts on topics discussed in the book. Sexual sanity is a deep rooted problem that can be worked on by becoming closer to Jesus. The most interesting thing my husband shared with me is how as Christian, we think of good fruit and bad fruit. In the book, it also discusses plastic fruit. Fruit that looks good and appeasing, but doesn't have any real fruit or merit to it! What an excellent way to think of things! Are you bearing good fruit? Bad fruit? Or do you have plastic fruit?My husband also isn't usually one to finish books when he starts, but he really is enjoying this book and how deep it's making him search himself and better himself through Christ. Highly recommend this to all men, regardless if you are struggling with sexual sins.

Excellent book!Went through this book with a group of men at my church. Learned a lot about creating a battle plan to fight my sin and that accountability is a life long journey! Would definitely recommend this book to all men, not just those struggling in sexual sin!

This is a great book, for going through with an accountability partner or a group. Really forces you to take a hard look at what you believe vs. what you say you believe and to find God's redeeming love and plan in the midst of whatever sexual issue you may be having.

To be honest, I havn't read this book yet, I will soon. But at first sight, I'm sure he will help me a lot and will also help many others.

Excellent book. My husband raves about it. A must-read for those who struggle with this life-destroying challenge.

If you're in high school, this is a good resource.If you're an adult that has struggled with prolonged porn, poor childhood family bonds, affairs, and/or trauma. This book is not likely going to bring you healing or change.This gets the "buyer beware" sticker despite the high rating because many christians are desperately seeking answers about their sexuality that churches aren't providing. This book doesn't have those kinds of answers either. I recommend Unwanted, Jay Stringer, and The Conquerer Series, small group DVD study.This book is well written. Potent with verses. Accurate. However, it leaves gaps- it does not address the relavent modern day issues for millennials. Its not just about temptation anymore..
