Electriduct 1/4" Polypropylene Non-Slit Wire Loom Corrugated Flexible Conduit - 20 Feet - Black

Yes this is a non-slit wire loom but whoever is selling this product does not have a clue about sizing. I have an idea as to why they decided to label a 1/2" wire loom as a 3/4" but that does not make it correct. Wire raceways are determined only by the interior diameter. We do not have the right to just decide to start calling something different than what it really is! What is next? Blue is really orange now?????Any questions about this can be directed to the National Electrical Code under conduit and raceway sizing! This stuff falls under flexible nonmetallic tubing such as ENT or "smurf". Bottom line is this is design to have conductors pulled and by definition is a "raceway" and all raceway/conduit shall be characterized/sized by the interior diameter of the conduit!

I used tbe 1.5" size to route an expensive fiber optic cable for a Samsung "The Frame" TV. It was not easy shoving this conduit up an existing wall with insulation, but once that was accomplished, pulling the cable was a breeze. Conduit is sturdy, easy to cut and seems high quality.

Used as a conduit for hdmi cable, in case I need to upgrade the cable in the future to a new standard. I used a standard electrical box, cut a big hole in the top with my dremel 4200, ran the conduit, and then filled the back of the electrical box with great stuff foam. The foam secured the conduit to make sure it doesn’t retract away from the electrical box.

.......Waaaay overpriced!I have no idea why this stuff is so expensive, I only bought it because I needed it in a hurry it was the right diameter and length, the client will absorb the cost, but I still feel a little violated!

We used this tubing as our "smurf" tubing during the building of our home. We now have tubing by every TV area. We only needed half of what we purchased and that was being generous with the lengths. The company was out of stock on what I purchased. So they called me to work out another way to get the product to me in a timely manner. The pipe took some abuse during the sheet rocking phase but snapped back into shape when I was installing the wall covers. It was also easy to cut with scissors.

Outside diameter is greater than one 1", more like a 1 1/8". You have to drill a 1 1/4" hole to get the conduit through cleanly. It will not fit in a 1" or 1 1/4" hole. So if you need this conduit to fit in a 1" hole you need to get a small conduit, the specs are misleading.

Worked great for the wiring in my Jeep. I purchased it thinking it had a slit in it (my mistake, as apparently I can't read a product description even in big bold print), and ended up cutting my own, which worked out just fine. Also used it as-is for running cable and a line. Ended up using the line to run a cable later, and it came through smoothly, so no kinks, cracks, or other issues with the loom.
