So I got this expecting it to be a pretty sturdy thing, I had broken the one we had previously. Within a week, I thought I could scoop some cold hard-ish ice cream with it, but I was wrong, apparently. I refuse to lose a strength competition to mere ice cream, but it turns out the ice cream scoop was weaker than the both of us. The head came off of the handle and I ended up punching the edge of the ice cream bucket hard enough to break skin. Blood isn't a great topping, just saying. The scoop still works though...the part that's supposed to be glued into the handle just inserts back in, and its far enough in there that if I wait for the ice cream to soften, the head won't pop off and send my hand flying.

This Ice cream scoop is amazing! It has a nice and comforable handle that is easy to grip and is light weight.  I love that it is a nice and bright color as I try to get all of my kitchen stuff in color since I collect fiestawear dishes. This scope allows you to scoop even frozen hard as a brick ice cream.  Which is rather impressive. I was able to scoop nice round scoops of ice cream with ease. Come time for cleanup, just throw it in the dishwasher. It hasn't dulled or gotten and spots or anything. This is proably one of the best scoops that I have ever purchased.

Bought this for the soft grip handle and because of the price! Has held up great in the dishwasher, and is much more comfortable that my old metal handle ice cream scoop.

Started out strong but I end up with a handle in one hand and the steel scoop in the other. I fell apart. I can push the scoop back on top of the handle to use it but I’ve since bought a replacement (not the same brand)

Broke after just a few months. The handle is connected to the scoop by a small piece of plastic. Garbage.

One of the better scoops I’ve used! Ergonomic handle makes for easy use, even with my tremors. Easily cuts through all but the hardest frozen of ice creams — in those cases, warm the scoop in hot water.

Never thought I'd be writing a review about a ice cream scoop. This thing cuts through hard ice cream almost like butter.

Sturdy Ice cream scoop, makes great scoops. Although did have to return due to scoop coming off the handle after short use, ordered another one and have been satisfied so far.
