PERFECT Messenger Bag. Solidly built, great value - Great for medical professionals, dj's, graduate students, gym goers.
Going to say this bag is perfect for many types of applications. I have a MacBook 15-inch with a protective cover, a 1.5 inch work binder, mouse, cables/chargers, pens/markers and other various items needed for everyday work related activities. Don't listen to the 3-star review written by "Nic", the material is not cheap at all. Zoom in to the picture shown, and you can clearly see it is tough and rugged material. The belt buckle system works perfectly, and what really hits home is the zipper and stitching quality. I've actually gone as far to order a second one for gym and travel use. Green for work, Blue for the gym. The strap is the same material used in seat belts, so very, very strong. You can tell the person who put this together thought about where the pockets and lining was needed. I love the zipper in the back of the bag, which gives you easy access to the main compartment. The profile is slim, even though the bag holds 17.3 inch laptops. The only thing I do not happen to like is the side pockets. This is due to the mechanical button. It would be nice if it was magnetized to click, zipper, or even elastic and open. It is awkward to have to push the button in at times, but no biggie.

Torn seam after 3 months
I like the large size. It fits my 17" laptop plus the large charger and a lot of other stuff. With the bag fully loaded I can fit my reusable water bottle in one pocket and my travel coffee mug (both containers are average to small diameter) in the other, though it is a very tight fit. I don't like that you need to have the buckles clipped everytime you want to move or carry the bag. You can use the shoulder strap without the buckles clipped but something about having to clip the buckles everytime you pick it up and having to unclip them anytime you want to get something out of the bag is annoying to me. That might just be the "messenger bag" design and this style is not for me. The other annoying thing is the bag has no rigidity so without a laptop in the bag it just kind of sags when you carry it and becomes a blob when you set it down. All of these annoyances asid, it carries all of the stuff I need to carry. The reason I give it a 3 star rating is because a seem split after about 3 months of use. The bag still functions and I am still using it but it has a very noticeable tear in a very noticeable place.

The bag is ok but the shoulder strap is not.
The bag is reasonably priced for its size, and will hold a 17 inch laptop. I chose it to carry an iPad and lightweight waterproof rain shell jacket. I recently moved to Oregon, and the weather here changes frequently and oftenI returned the bag and ordered a similar Taurus bag because the Nicgid bag has a poor quality, non-replaceable shoulder strap. The strap itself is made of thin nylon webbing that does not appear to be durable. The shoulder pad is not padded, just covered with some kind of slick fabric, possibly nylon. Carrying a heavy load in this bag for hours would be painful. The bag may meet your needs if it fits your budget and don't carry a lot of weight . At about $38 you'll find several other choices at Amazon to compare.

Good looking and good sized bag. They need to update the shoulder strap to avoid it getting all twisted up during regular use...
When I was looking at this bag on Amazon, it looked like it would meet my needs without putting too much of a strain on my pocket book. Once I received it I found that the size was adequate. The color was exactly as depicted on Amazon. I gave it 3 stars because I did have some issues with this bag. My first issue is that the material that the closure straps are made out of was very weak and ripped within the first two days that I have had the bag. Amazon took care of it and sent me out a new one and the replacement bag does not seem to have this issue. I love the size of this bag and the looks. The nylon they use is a little shiny for my liking but I can live with that as long as the bag performs well. I do have a con and it is more of a design thing than a defect. The main shoulder strap of this bag does not incorporate any form of twist mitigation. Most messenger type bags that I have seen have swivel points on the shoulder strap so that the strap does not get all twisted up during normal use. In fact, there is a rectangular metal buckle that tends to bunch up the strap. They would have done much better to incorporate some swivel points into their design. Other than the initial ripping of the strap and the lack of swivel points, this bag has been holding up to everyday use for me. I carry two laptops, notes, and a jacket in this bag routinely with no issues.

Good messenger bag, although it slides around like it's on ice!
This is a decent bag, especially for the price. There are more pockets than you could ever fill, and the zippers are smooth. And the smoothness doesn't end there. The fabric used throughout, could be compared to teflon, greased with butter and covered in WD40. It is the most slippery fabric on the planet! You could set this thing on a corduroy couch covered in Velcro, and it would slide right off! I tend to use it with the main flap open, for access to a bigger pouch all the time. If the outside pouch were bigger, it would be better. But I split hairs. Its adjustable and solid. Decent bag.

Spacious, light...even when packed and sturdy.
This is the ultimate bag of holding! It is essentially my carry everything electronic bag, which included laptop, battery backups, chargers, an array of cables, two tablets and has more than enough room for my leather binder, my book of the week and misc supplies. It is very well crafted and quite slick as far as the feel of the material. You can carry it like a briefcase or use the shoulder strap and carry it across body or at your side, and despite all the stuff I pack into it, it never gets too heavy to carry and you can readily adjust how you are carrying it if you do get fatigued with how you had it before. Despite it's measured specs it is not that big, I was rather surprised that it was not huge given that it can hold up to a 17" laptop.
