For those who believe
For those who believe no explanation is needed, for those who don't, no explanation is possible. I met and studied with Dhyani over twenty five years ago. I've not connected with her for about the last 10 years. This book has been long awaited. Dhyani is very detailed in regards to the teachings but a lot more private in regards to her personal life. Over the years I would get little hints about her childhood and family details. This book fills in the gaps and gives insight into how these teachings were preserved and passed on. To be around Dhyani is to begin to see miracles on a daily basis. The book inspires and teaches us to enpower ourselves . While there are individuals who attack Dhyani, there are also many respected Elders in the Native American community who support her work and share information at the Elder's gathering held every year in Vermont. My personal experience was positive and the teachings continue to be a source of great comfort to me. I will continue to buy any book written by Dhyani, I'm already looking forward for vol. 2.

A great addition to the literature on the Cherokee nation
This is a long awaited follow-up to the Voices of Our Ancestors and once again Dhyani Ywahoo delivers a book that tells both her personal story, which is unique and intriguing, and the story of the Cherokee nation and their traditional beliefs. Dhyani is from a family that has carried traditional Cherokee wisdom down through the ages and she allows us to get a glimpse into this beautiful and profound way of life.

Truth instead of fiction
As a Cherokee, I am constantly looking for real truth regarding my history. What I find most often is a litany of information thrown together by wannabes who believe what they have seen in the movies. In order to appreciate and understand this particular book, one needs to know who they truly are in their soul or who are searching for that dimension within themselves. I recommend it to anyone who is ready to advance to a higher level of consciousness.

I am amazed the it was published
The entire book was unclear and full of rambling thoughts. Some of the things in the book made me wonder if the author was on drugs. I am amazed the it was published. A total waste of my time and money. I have Cherokee ancestors and that is why I bought the book but was very disappointed.
