MTD part without MTD Price!
This was an exact replacement on my MTD Gold 50" Zero Turn. The Left Drive had completely quit. Guess this is common on these mowers although I am not sure why its primarily the left side. While I had the mower apart I also changed the oil in the right hand drive. It has to be removed and dumped out of the fill cap with the hex key hole. These drives require 20w50 motor oil per the manufacturer. This drive was already full of fluid on delivery. There units hold 1.75 quarts of fluid. Hope this helps. Tranny for a mower
It was perfect. It arrived very quickly. It was packaged extremely well. It was just what I needed. It replaced a transmission on a troy bilt zero turn mower. Price was the best compared to troy bilt, and Wal-Mart who didn't have any in stock.
