This type of leash was recommended by a trainer. So far it has worked very well. Have oly been using this type for about a eeek. Much easier to use than the harness and a lot less pullliomg.

Easy to take it on and off ofU^ェ^U very durable. We have 3 of them in different colors, trying to keep one always near by.

I do volunteer work at an animal shelter and the top handlers there recommended the Mendota slip lead. It's been very high quality, easy to hold onto, and the stopper is just right. A dog managed to get ahold of it and chewed it fairly badly (the Mendota still held up very well), so I bought another one.

Love it. It's easy to put on the dog and works great.

I bought this for my puppy and she seems to like the color orange, so that’s what I got. She thinks it’s a toy. Trying to use as we walk, she just wants to play with it. So, maybe I got the wrong color for this puppy. So, it’s hard to review for me.

Well… I’ve had this leash for two days and my black lab was super comfortable with it, and learning to walk by my side instead of pulling like crazy. But I guess he got too comfortable, since he decided to chew it and completely shred it. It was my fault though, I left the leash on his toy bin. It doesn’t mean it’s not 100% durable - your dog won’t reach it while you’re walking, and I left him alone for a solid 15 minutes of pure chewing focus lol. It’s a great leash for training and walking, but if you have a dog who loves to chew, that might not be the right fit.

We adopted a free spirited 2 year old lab mix who is a bit much to handle on the leash. I hope this will continue to help her listen better so we can walk her with her regular leash. Very well made and adjustable! A little pressure gets her attention just fine. Great for training.

I've had this leash for a year now and it's fine. I like its pink colour. What I don't like is that the metal ring, while rubbing on the leash, made the leash dark on that spot. That dark colour got transferred on the dogs skin, so she has a smudge on her neck, which is washable, but I need to give her a bath to remove it. It looks horrible.

I've been using this leash almost daily for a year, and it's still in excellent shape. Great buy for the price.

Works well, as a training aid. The rope shows some wear, is still strong and durable so far. I find it hard on my hands, am glad I choose the thicker leash. My 6month, 50 lb German Shepard quickly learned how to pull me using this. I needed to learn how to get through to her to heel.... more training me how to react quickly to her before she actually pulls me, and working with her to learn what I expect when I say heel.... this was done off leash and in the house. Used properly this leash can give a quick correction as soon as she starts to get ahead to far, and before she gets far enough to pull me.

Always liked the thickness and comfort when using the leash but after getting the 2nd (3/8 width 5” and 6” long) product with loose leather tab- frustration creeped in. It’s for a small puppy (10lbs) that pulls and having rubber band won’t even hold its place. Before returning the 2nd time, I reached out to CS and they’ve replaced it with thankfully a way better product! Now, I’m happy I reached out and gotten the quality I expected.
