Innovative Anti-Pooling and Fantastic Customer Service
This is the only canopy you should buy. We have a Z-Shade 12x12, (which is a darn good canopy) that we almost lost when a heavy rain came in and sure enough the water pooled, pulling the whole thing down and bending structure pieces. Our neighbor bought this EzFast Anti-Pooling 12x12 and I was incredibly impressed when I saw the added 'center ribs' design, to eliminate the risk of pooling. What an innovative solution to a problem many owners of other canopies have. The second time I put it up, some of the red center ribs cracked at the rivet. I'm sure it was due to me, you should have a second person help you stretch it open. If you're alone, take your time, work your way around it several times and make sure it is fully expanded before you lock in the top sliders. Don't muscle them up. If they don't slide up easily, it isn't expanded fully. I reached out to the company through the Amazon page. I emailed them on Sunday, he called me on Monday. I told him what happened, that I didn't think I forced it too much, but the things didn't break on their own. He (Ralph) didn't hesitate. He took my info and sent out a new set of center ribs the next day. Incredible customer service. The company stands behind their product. The canopy is as well constructed as the Z-Shade and the Anti-Pooling modification is nothing shy of brilliant. And it comes in at a price point similar to lesser models. I said to Ralph I was really surprised no other manufacturers had this on their canopies. He told me it's because they have a patent on the design. From a company in California USA !! They weren't put on a slow boat from China. If you are looking to buy a canopy, look no further. This is the only one to buy. Hands down.

Nicely made and really repels water but hate the big logos on it.
Bought this to use outside for weekly summer parties to shade the beverage coolers and tubs. It creates a nice bar space for guests. It did take two of us to get it popped up but was otherwise pretty easy to “assemble.” I also bought the suggested sandbags for around the base of the legs and I don’t think you should go without these. It make it so much more steady in place. We leave it out between parties and center the cleaned out coolers and tubs beneath it. We’re in the Midwest and have had several storms. Unless there is a driving rain, everything under it stays bone dry. And the canopy has not moved in the wind either.Money well spent IMO.My only complaint is that the company name is in very large print on two opposing sides of it. It cheapens the appearance of the canopy (and my nice party set up) and annoys me that I am forced to advertise for them for free.

READ directions
I like the material in the top. Time will tell how it holds up. Seems sturdy. I used my own stakes and sandbags so can't review them.I have no shade on my RV lot so I go through a couple of awnings every summer. Funny the cheapest has last the longest so far. I wanted a 13x13 instead of the 10x10's I use. I am familiar with putting awnings up. That being said there is a SMALL step in the directions that is HUGE. More later.Assembled the awning as per instructions (sort of) and pushed up the center bar. Everything looked great. Staked down the legs and looked up. One of the roof support bars (white) was not straight and had bent it's bracket. Trying to get it back in place caused the bracket to pop from the center hub and a small pin came out. Got the awning down without any damage. Turned frame upside down and removed plate. Put bar and pin back in and reassembled.2nd try. While pushing up on center hub the pin missed the plate locking it in place. This happens very fast and you do not want to miss. Took it down once I got it unlocked.3rd try was pretty much a repeat of the 1st try only a different pin and bar came out! Took it down and fixed the center hub again.4th try. Reread the directions to see what the heck I was missing. It mentions securing the white roof support bars to the awning (with attached velcrow tabs). This is HUGE and really should be emphasized. The velcrow tabs help keep the bars straight so that they don't bend sideways. Interesting the tiny velcrow strap does what a metal bracket failed to do (bent the bracket several times). This one small thing keeps it from getting 5 stars. If I was not good at repairing things this would have been an immediate return. Which is a shame because once assembled properly it looks great. Time will tell how it holds up.UPDATE:2 days later we got hit by a storm. Lightning, heavy rain, hail and winds. I was sure it was a goner because I left it up. It handled it like a champ. ZERO damage. 1' stakes and sandbags on each leg. But it was next to a 13 ft storage shed so storm only hit 3 sides. Still impressed.

For the price, a very durable canopy, so far...
So far its holding up to the elements. I have the canopy bolted to a 10'x10'- 4" heavy plastic pipe frame, by using cut to size fence boards that are bolted to the pipe corners. This reinforces the corners which doesn't require glue so it can be taken apart. The canopy feet are bolted to the wood corners and the pipe base can be pulled to where shade is needed with the help of light chains that are bolted to the corners. Thus the structure is pulled at the base and not by the canopy. The pipe base also anchors the canopy and can slide easily on the ground. The canopy has stood up against a few rain storms, which was one of the reasons why I went with this pricier model. The other reason was the anti-pooling design with the quick and easy set up. Albeit, "quick and easy" would have likely been that had I had a second person to help me set this up. It was more of an effort othetwise. At this point, I would buy this model again.
