I put 5 stars in longevity but I haven't had it for too long, it has worked perfectly so far, there is no burning of fingers and with other lighter I kept having to buy spare lighter fluid cartridges so having to charge instead is much more practical. I'm happy with it.

I have so many tall jar candles that are hard to light with matches. This lighter reaches well and lights the wick quickly.

I was doubtful but this lighter works great. I’ve had it for a year now and still works to light my candles. I haven’t plugged this in since I got it. I might need to soon for a recharge. I think I’ll buy another and get rid of all my other lighters.

I got this because I don’t have the strength in my hands to use the torch lighters like you use to light a grill. This is perfect, you slide the button & the blue lights light up then push the black igniter button. . Now I can put my hand in jar with the candles because of the bent head. I would say if any body has hand problems this would come in handy.

Works as expected, has lit many candles & provided my teen sons with entertainment - all with the as-shipped charge.

Love the no flame rechargeable lighter for candles. Not what you want to start a fire with but recharge batter last long and lights wicks quick.

Safer than using matches
