MG101-1 microGreen Oil Filter

Bypass filtration feature is exceptionally useful to increase the longevity of the oil but only in cases when your engine suffers from too much fine dust inhaled via air filter. In any other cases, filtration has nothing to do with the longevity of the oil. In other cases, longevity will be defined by neutralization of acids means TBN of the oil.In any case, if your vehicle operates on dusty roads it is most certainly a good protection.Was disappointed about Made in China when website explaining how much they invested in US based manufacturing plant.

I bought this for my 2004 Toyota Camry 4 cylinder. I've changed filters at the 7k mark when the maintenance light comes on. I change the oil every third filter change. Oil is staying clean. Filter cost is close to what other Premium filters are so . . . I'm happy. Have 140k miles on the car and it's running super as expected.

It is produced on the same manufacturing lines that manufacture premium quality engine oil filters for North American and European original equipment manufacturers. Therefore, the microGreen® oil filter is produced in a world class facility with stringent engineering, manufacturing and quality processes."To me, made in North America under stringent quality controls was a selling point. If you are paying 3x or 4x the cost of a traditional filter, I don't want to go with Chinese quality.Yeah, well, when I got the package, it said "Made in CHINA"see my photos above.

A little over a year ago, I started using micro-green filters in all of my vehicles. The oil appears to stay cleaner longer. For a only a few dollars more that the premium brands I had been buying, Micro-Green appears to do a better job. I hope the it will save some costly repairs in years to come as my odometers approach 200,000 miles.

The claims on this filter sound so good they're difficult to believe. But after a lot of research I came to believe the claims are credible. I will edit my review after I've finished using this first purchase of this filter.

The filter has been installed. Of course, it is hard for me to tell how well it is working, but it seems to be OK so far.

Great product that I've used on many cars over many years. Never have had any problems with the filter. I'm not as brave as some so I change my oil at 10k miles along with the filter. There is a tangible difference in how the oil looks with this filter vs the other extended performance filters I used before the microgreen. I used amsoil and mobil 1 ep filters but neither of those kept the oil looking like it does with the microgreen. One day I'll have to do a uoa and see if the oil change can be extended to 20k using mobil 1 ep oil!
