Unfortionately when purchased the set screw was in to hold the pull assembly part, and I marked it pretty bad.Some of the under part is getting some scraping from the ring that presses the button that releases the connecion.However that is all appearance. This works excellent. My car isnt for show. I tend to idle my car at work before leaving, and I like taking the wheel inside.I wish my NRG wheel matched a bit better.PS the wires did NOT instantly attach with my cheap Type R aftermarket steering wheel button and you should crimp a QD on. (Quick disconnect) Sold at walmart or amazon (shameless plug)

Managed to buy this for 10$ somehow from bigfly, was a bit skeptical it might be a knock off but once it arrived I could tell it was 100% authentic. Self install was easy only took like an hour, had some trouble trying to figure out the wiring to get my horn to work but other then that it was easy

Got my package today just to open it and find out the box was empty! It’s missing the quick release and the bolts! I’m highly upset and mad 😡 Now I cant drive my car and have to wait on the replacement to get here and hope to god the new ones inside. Don’t waste ur time ordering this products from Amazon you probably will receive a empty box like I did!

Well built, fairly easy to install and very easy to use. Feels reliable for a track car. Only two minor shortcomings. 1) the quick disconnects in the unit (1 female, 1 male) do not mate up with the 2 male quick disconnects in the OMG race wheel horn button designed to work with this. Just requires the one male to be swapped for a female... no big deal but no reason for it.2) In mating with the OMG steering wheel more screw holes would have been good as to make it easier to set the final position of the steering wheel to level when the wheels are straight.

Solid. Just slide your little snap ring around. A guy covers in in a youtube video. Quick release in a 350z. Its a white z. Comes with a couple diff ground rings. Just test fit before you bolt on. Make sure your holes line up..... update it did trip my steering wheel angle sensor. If that happens your abs light will come on and i believe your brake light. You need a scan tool to reset that. Easy fix all good now

I got this while converting my car to a race car. I think it is more of a street car quick release. It has a little button you have to push down to get it to release. With some practice, I can do it pretty quickly even with my gloves on. But, some of the others on the market are probably better for getting out of a burning race car quickly.It does center your steering wheel every time you put it on. That alone makes it better than a lot of quick releases.This did come with wires to hook up the horn. For some reason, I wanted my horn to work. It looks good also.

My race team has the Gen 2 on our race car (BMW e30).I decided to up the fanciness for my personal track car (BMW e36) and get this Gen 3.....I think I like the Gen 2 better. These wing things...I just don't understand their purpose. So, I am thinking I'm just going to take them off, which leaves me with basically a Gen 2.8, I guess.It's still a quality product and all (hence the four stars), it just seems like a big cost bump for...what?

The wings are just too much. A gimmick, and your pay quite a bit for it. I returned them and used one of the earlier versions. I wasn't sure about this in the first place. imho, Don't chase the latest and "greatest", the earlier versions are less expensive and work amazingly well.

This product is well manufactured and worth every cent I spent on itWhen it comes to something you rely on for performance and safety it is not worth cutting corners and great products like this (especially on a drift car) are a must!!!tried cheaper versions and there is just no comparison don't waste your money buy this product and have piece of mind that you will not have any issues
