Fermenting vol. 4: Water Kefir

This books tells you everything you need to know to get started making some tasty drinks with water kefir!

This is an excellent introduction to Water Kefir -- and has some delightful recipes in it. Haven't have a chance to try any yet, but I most certainly will.

The cranapple kefir recipe was very good. For the most part, this book is good. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because I would have liked a much more comprehensive book. Some info is given, and there are many recipes. But I would have liked to see more recipes and more in depth sections on the technicalities of water kefir, going much deeper than they do. That said, compared to the page length of other water kefir specific books that Amazon was advertising, if I recall correctly, this one was the longest. So it's probably better than the others.

Good literature! Very interesting book and looking forward to apply the things I have learned in it. Lets see the others volumes.

This book has lots of very basic information for a beginner. Also some basic recipes. If you are an intermediate or advanced fermenter you may already be aware of much of the info provided. But clearly written.

This is a nice simple little book to get you started, I wanted to make coconut water kefir and lime with mint, with some practice, using this book I'm sure I will master the process, there are a lot of really nice and simple, well explained recipes, and you can't beat the price.I

Detailed instructions and recipes. Answered all of my questions.

I ended up tossing it out. Never thought it got to the place where it was something I liked the taste of or wanted to drink. To each his own.

These are great little books and I have now bought the set. There are some really interesting ideas and I am now looking forward to getting started. Good quality paper which is really nice.

Very oridanary book. Not worth the cost. No health benefits mentioned. The cost should be around one hundred and fifty

I haven't read much about water kefir, so I found it very insightful and now I will have to order some grains! Lots of recipes for making kefir water taste yummy!
