great in cold temps
I tested this heater in 55 degrees F below zero, it sat outside in the cold all winter since I recieved it,it never failed to fire right up. It has always been hard to find a heater that will work in extreme cold, and this one works! I would have gave it 5 stars if it were'nt for the tank filler neck,or the lack of one,I should say. It is completely flat where the fuel cap screws on, the dumbest thing I ever saw on a piece of equipment that is intended to be used in winter, and snow conditions. It is not possible to keep snow from falling into fuel tank when you remove fuel cap to refuel. The little fuel quantity guage is pretty much worthless, but it looks good, I guess. I still ain't thought of a good use for the 110 volt outlet on the side of the heater, but I'll keep thinking, maybe I'll charge my I-Phone while the dozer is heating up, yeh, that's it.

Works great.
We bought this item from the used/slightly “damaged” available listing. Came with a large dent. My dad popped the dent out and this thing runs AWESOME. Heats up his 5000 square foot shop super well. I keep saying I wish it didn’t run on diesel, because it would heat their house really well if my mom didn’t hate the smell of diesel lol. Definitely worth purchasing and we got it at a lower price.

Arrived Damaged and not working
Purchased brand new from Amazon. Arrived with broken back grill and 2 small dents on top. Ordered new grill from Mr Heater and didn't come until I called again. Great service guy got one right out to me. Tried heater for first time on Saturday and would not stay lit. Lots of smoke very little flame. Then shut down. Every attempt after does not ignite. Pressure is good...6.8. Ignitor sparks, fuel coming thru nozzle but won't light. Spoke to boob at Mr Heater today and he's just reading from a script of things to check. Time for a service center visit.

Pure junk X2.
Needed this to keep new $17,000 concrete floor warm for the required 26 days. The first one had a loose wire internally so you had to wiggle it to start then stay on. Amazon sent new one that will not shut off/ at 90Deg. it is still running on the lowest settings of 65 deg.
