Watch Mainspring Winder Repair Tools, Alloy Steel Watch Winding Tool Accessories Wristwatch Repairing Kit

I finally got it to work. Happy about that but let me tell you how I did it. I’m a noob and this is my first mainspring. Figured I’d go mid grade cheap Chinese, not all the way but after reading the guys review about the metal arbor above I figured this fit me well.I didn’t know what he was talking about but now I do. See the first pic; it has a small cutaway and on the spring (I didn’t take a pic) there’s a small slot. Well the arbor catch grabs the spring in the slot and let’s you wind it. The cutaway is what I assume Bergeron does so well, I had to press the top of the arbor pin last pic just a little bit to make room for my spring. It was either that or grind the spring a little bit…After making room for the spring and using the bigger arbor (2671) on the smaller spring container (2000) I was able to wind this small spring up and punch it into the spring housing. It didn’t make a click like the wrist watch revival guy gets with his fancy pants winder so that was disappointing but it did go in the housing so that was the point.I also like the nice alloy holder for it. I think for $100 you’d be hard pressed to make one yourself any better. I’m happy

Despite advertising return eligible, seller offered only 23% refund and required me to ship this product to China at my own expense. It wasn't shipped FROM China because I received it within a week.These games may work on TEMU but I am blacklisting them in all of my Watch Enthusiast groups and on YouTube.Don't buy; the set only fits specific makes & brands and the brass arbors are weak and will wear on steel springs.

This is one of those tools that I would get the Bergeon. I tried to make it work by modifying the tools, but it just resulted in frustration and damaged main springs. Expensive lesson.

The quality is terrible, they only grab the spring when winding clockwise, try counter-clockwise and it will damage your spring.Bought it and now realize it is useless, and I had to end up buying a new spring that this toolset broke

This was an extremely expensive kit and does not work. Very poorly made and does pick up the mainspring
