We have lots of kitchen gadgets. Rice cooker? Yes. InstantPot. Yup! Silicone avocado saver, can tops. You betcha. Pretty much, if it's something that had some purpose to simply your life (or it was on sale at one point) we have it.My brother and sister-in-law, however, are the complete opposite. They are absolute minimalists. Imagine my surprise, then, when they pulled out an electric arc lighter at a recent birthday party. WHAT IS THIS MAGIC? I demanded.When our lighter ran out of fluid, this was the easiest purchase yet. I life that this had a flexible neck (easy for getting into partially used candles) and the on/off switch gives me peace of mind that it won't accidentally light. The battery indicator is clear and simple and since opening and confirming fully charged I've used nightly for about 2 weeks without any need to recharge.Seriously... such a smart, simple invention and perfect for kitchens (lighting candles, pilot lights etc) and would be useful for camping too. Definitely recommend!

I love this little gadget. I’m so tired of wasting my money on throw away things like lighters and I wanted a more sustainable product to reduce the waste I produce. I don’t know how hot this gets, I’m not going to touch the little spark it produces but it lights my candles and fires without me having to get to close to the flame and burning myself. The charge lasts pretty long and it charges really fast. The blue lights indicate how much charge is remaining making it easy to tell if it needs a charge or not. Portable and the flexible tip makes it easy to get into some of those bigger candles that you can’t reach.

I’d give it 0 stars if that was a choice. I bought this a gift for my mom. She charged it and light one candle. The next day she went to light a candle and couldn’t, because the charge drained just sitting in a drawer. This is a piece of junk.

I'm new to this kind of ignition source, so I admit my husband and I are just tickled to death with this thing. We're experimenting with what it will and will not light , and so far it's lit pretty much everything we've tried that's combustible: candles, cigars, bits of paper, brush, etc. It can be tricky to get a wick in between the prongs with shaky hands, but it's not impossible. I love the fact that you don't need any kind of fuel source for this, and it takes a much lighter touch than a regular lighter. We've just received it, so we can't speak of longevity, or even battery life yet. But so far, we're having a lot of fun with it. It wasn't very expensive, so to be honest we're not expecting it to last that long. We hope it does, though!

This lighter deserves a 0 stars! This lighter is a POS a d doesn’t work. Understand, this lighter didn’t even work once even though It was fully charged when I received it. After testing couple of times, I charged it because battery indicator had 3 stars. I was so hopeful that it would work after being charged, it didn’t.This purchase was a scam and doesn’t work. This company must’ve paid ppl for positive reviews. This was a complete waste to my time & money. These PPL should get what’s coming 2 them 4 scamming ppl.

DO NOT BUY!!!! This product is completely junk. It is a Chinese product. I could make something better then this. Absolute waste of money. Thing does not charge. Has a bunch of warnings on back. You actually have to watch it charge and when it’s done you have to disconnect it right away or the battery will will break. When you first plug it in. You must connect and disconnect it like 20 times for it to start. However, mine never turned on. Complete waste of money. Stay away. Go buy a real lighter

I *finally* ran out of my 500 box of matches purchased a gazillion years ago so I decided to buy one of those campfire lighters. This came up in my suggestions instead. I don't need to light a lot of fires, so the whole tech felt deliciously futuristic at a cheap price, and therefore worth trying out.If all you're lighting is a candle wick this is perfect. I think you could also light a piece of paper if you were about to toss it onto a fireplace. Anything bigger than that would interrupt the circuit too much.For an apartment dweller like me who is more concerned with safety than Big Ole Flames this is perfect. I don't need to remember to buy batteries. The flame isn't large enough to be dangerous. It's just strong enough to light a wick on a seasonal candle - for my purposes? Perfect.

Es reicht für einige Kerzen.ABER : Das Ding verbreitet im Betrieb eine Frequenz, die für Hundeohren alles andere als angenehm erscheint. Unser Hund reagiert sofort darauf, dass es angemacht wird.Also wer Haustiere hat, Finger davon lassen ! Sonst super !Hätte man auch in die Produktbeschreibung schreiben können !

My veehhe candle lighter only worked for 4 weeks the line which lights up to light the candle has snapped so it can't be used now very dissapointed

Loved this when i opened it. Got the gold one and it’s lovely. I was amazed that i found an electrical lighter! No gas, flint anything like that. However, it is JUST a candle lighter. The end is too narrow to light cigs lol. As it’s not a flame, it’s like an arc of Electricity. I sort of got it to do both, so I’m torn. Great as a candle lighter!!! If that is the only thing you want it to do. Battery lasts a while too.

Bought this to replace the conventional gas powered lighters I had been buyingRemember to turn the power off between uses. Apart from that this is much better than the lighter type lighters I used to use.Can be hard getting purchase on a wick in low light as no flame but it’s good. Not for people with bad eyesight!

I was intrigued by this gadget. I find it tricky to light candles and stuff with a lighter so decided to try this out. No regrets at all, this product works really well. Lights up just about anything. Bonus is that it’s rechargeable via USB. I’d recommend this any day.
